Bleck. A blatant KFC rip-​off, Chicken Cottage is located slap bang in the middle of The Fort.
The only discernible difference, as far as I can tell, is that their meat is halal. Which is cool, if it’s one of your dietary requirements. However, even though I was absolutely starving when I ate here, I was deeply unimpressed. In a way, you can’t really blame them, because fast-​food isn’t a top priority for Fort shoppers. However, the chicken sandwich I was presented with was complete with semi-​stale bread, limp lettuce, and bone-​dry meat. It was difficult to eat due to the sheer dryness.
I imagine that it wouldn’t be so bad, probably just like a KFC, if it was busy and there was a constant influx of fresh food. As it stands, however, I can’t recommend this place at all. Sorry!
