I was asked to go to Diamond Dolls for a friend’s birthday one year and being the good friend that I am, I reluctantly agreed. It’s not as tacky as I expected it to be but it isn’t exactly the classiest of joints either! The price of the drinks is astronomical, almost as much as lap dances which must make the girls feel more than a little cheap surely?
For the birthday boy we bought him a dance off of two of the girls and they were dancing together but in the same way you see groups of girls dancing together in a club on a Saturday night. There was nothing particularly sexual about it. They just happened to be nearly naked but it wasn’t very lesbian for want of a better phrase! They took off my friend’s belt and started whipping him with it. He eventually had to tell them to stop because it was just painful, and not in a good way! Altogether it was a rather disappointing performance from the girls!
I am going to sound like such a woman when I say this but I can’t help it! Facially not one of the girls was what I would call attractive. Now I know most guys don’t go to strip clubs to see girls with nice faces, but still. Body wise they were ok. Maybe my expectations were too high, but if I got naked for a living I’d be hitting the gym hard every day to make sure my body looked amazing. However some of these girls weren’t toned at all. Not fat by any stretch of the imagination, but nothing special either. On the plus side I was pleased and surprised to see that not all the girls were huge breasted, blondes which awful fake tan (although there were plenty of those) and there was actually a good variety of girls looks wise. Also I quite enjoyed my wee trip to Diamond Dolls purely because it made me feel more attractive! Sorry Diamond Doll ladies, I know I’m a bitch but it’s the truth!
I haven’t been to any other strip clubs in Glasgow so I don’t really know how Diamond Dolls compares. For what it’s worth boys I’d just stay home and download some porn if I were you. Or if you’re looking for a good, drunken night with some mates, don’t pick Diamond Dolls. It’s too expensive and other than the naked ladies, it’s actually pretty dull.

The appeal of this place is not the drinks, obviously. It’s the naked women.
I’ve never been to other strip clubs so it’s hard for me to rate this place without a reference point. What I can say is that the girls pick you, you dont pick the girls. You just sort of sit there till they approach you and do a good job of pretending to be interestein you, slowly working the conversation away towards getting naked.
It’s not actually that expensive, a tenner for a ‘dance’ with other arrangements for more time and champagne costing over £100.
The girls are as attractive as you would hope for, and from all different backgrounds.
It is all rather tacky though, rather than sexy. This was solidifed by one of the girls the first time I went introducting herself as ‘Chantelle’.
