My fondest memory of Scotland was getting carry-​out here. I was staying in a flat directly across the street. My window pretty much directly overlooked this shop. And to date, most every chipper is compared to Gio’s as my benchmark. Sicne eating there, I have traveled all over the UK, and Ireland, and have not found a chipper I like as much as Gio’s. I can still rememebr the fish and chips wrapped in newspaper.
