Gal who runs GK Physiotherapy is one of those guys you know you can trust. He is one of the country’s top Physiotherapist who has worked with some of the best athletes around and has been on the physio team at the recent Glasgow Commonwealth Games and the Baku 2015 European Olympics Games. If these aren’t good enough credentials I don’t know what is! It was only by pure chance I discovered him and perhaps by sheer laziness too. I had been experiencing pain and discomfort with a sports hernia /groin type problem for some time, and I finally decided to do something about when things took a turn for the worse after being almost crippled during a game of football. I took to Google and then settled on the practice across the road from my flat. Laziness or a stroke of luck? Who knows, but as soon as I read his website I knew he’d be the guy for me. During my initial hour long consultation he found several problems and weaknesses with my spine and various related muscles. He explained all the problems in a way that made sense to me and he quickly set about giving me all sort of weird and wonderful exercises that quickly put me on the right road to recovery. In addition to this, Gal is a skilled specialist in manipulative therapy so he was able to put me in some crazy positions to crack some bones I didn’t even know I had! Instantly I could feel relief from the lower back pain I was experiencing and he was able to align my vertebrate too. Gal offers single consultations, but I found buying a course of 4 worked best for me. It saved me some money and allowed him to track my progress and give me additional things to work on with each session. At no point in any session did I feel rushed during consultations, and in fact sessions seemed to last much longer than anticipated as he meticulously looked over things. In terms of value for money, I think he is well worth it. As for my injury, things progressed very nicely and I became much stronger where I needed to be. I am able to play football again, pretty much pain free and I am actually able to walk normally after a game now. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gal to anyone with a sports related, or muscular type injury. The guy is real top and talented bloke!
