Have purchased gift cards here on several occasions and have had a pleasant experience. Today I entered the shop and headed towards the service area and was very abruptly told to stop and wait. I saw no obvious signage. I was served quickly but the gift card I purchased looks to have been reused. When I looked at it later i found it to be scratched and quite worn. Not ideal for a gift. Found this shopping experience to be quite unwelcoming and less than satisfactory. Wished I’d done it online.

I’m in love with how big the store is and we found cute kids shoes as well as some new trainers for me. The flyknit are too pretty that I can’t pass them out. This particular store has mens, womens, kids and the ID customising section. The people who work the store are helpful but not overly friendly if that makes any sense.

I make 0 excuses for my level of nike addiction. Literally 0. I love the clothes, love the value(particularly at the outlet) and find the staff really helpful. I’ve shopped in here a couple of times, mainly for leggings and sports bras. They are always more than happy to help. There was one occasion I didn’t find a great selection in store, so I was asked to leave my feedback online, so that they could see if any other customers had similar views. I basically love the Nike Pro Leggings range, at the time I found loads online but not in-store! The best bit about this store? The free exercise classes that run from here. On a Thursday from 5.30−6.30, it’s Nike Training Club with Cam. Admittedly, a lot of people wouldn’t like this. They rope off the middle section of the store, Cam has a boom box and has you sweating instantly, doing an hour of intense core and HIT training, from burpees, to squats and everything in between. So yeah, people look and wonder what’s going on. But equally, it’s a completely free class! After this from 6.30−7.30 there is the Nike Run Club, Thursday nights are a mix of interval training or timed 5−7km runs. There is a fantastic group of pace runners(seen in the volt yellow tops), who will encourage you around the session. The groups are mixed into times, so faster runs, slower runs etc. Everyone is so friendly. Throughout my sets, the faster runs continually said keep going etc. Sunday mornings start at 10.30, with longer distance runs which tend to last around an hour. Again this is completely free, a changing room is opened up and locked for people to leave there stuff. Many of the Nike staff themselves take part in the run club, so it’s great to see a brand actually employing sporty people!

My boyfriends dream store. Well, mine as well, but his impressive trainer collection can vouch for his love of Nike. I don’t think there is a time when we’re in town when we don’t stop in to this shop. It’s really great and very inspiring to be the best you can be in every aspect of your life. When you walk in, you’re immediately hit with ideas on how to dress for running(there have been times I’ve walked up to the mannequin and wanted to buy whatever it was showcasing right then and there– good on you Nike marketing, good on you!). Just beyond that are the mens and womans clothing and shoe area. Loads of styles to choose from and easily marked out for your browsing and buying pleasure. If you’re in to running, Nike also has a run club on Thursday nights(for beginners to professional runners) and now Sunday nights for long distance runners. It’s free and the people who run the group are super friendly and very encouraging. Upstairs is where the magic happens, and when I say magic, I mean, where you can personalize things like bags and specific shoe styles to match your character. There are sit down computers where you can create and have your very own Nike’s made. It’s genius. There’s also another men’s section for the more fashionable shoes where I’ve often time dreamed of some of the cooler shoes and who could be wearing them. There is also a golf section and a foot ball section, full of cletes and footballs. Lastly, but not least, there is a huge section dedicated to the man himself Michael Jordan. It’s a must see, even if you just take in the wing span on the man! I feel dwarfed and I stand at 5’9″. The staff here are always helpful and they help in my want to go in to this store all the time, with or without my boyfriend. For now though, I’m saving my pennies for a eighty quid pair of running tights that I’m desperate to buy. HA! In my dreams!

A simply addictive shop for every runner like me, or anyone who enjoys casual or intensive sport practice. I know every time I go in I’ll buy something, just because. The ground floor is mainly dedicated to run and fitness gear, for men and women, and the top floor is other sports, plus a very cute kids section. I think Nike is doing a great job in terms of retail, and branding, and this is definitely reflected in their Glasgow flagship store. Have a check if you’re around. It’s a bit pricey but definitely high quality and great service.

This is a store I really like and one that I am frequent visitor to. It’s definitely one of the better sports shops in Glasgow, with the highest quality of products. I’m a big sports fan myself, so I like to have a look around in here and see the latest Kobe Bryant products they have on offer(I’m a total Lakers fanatic being born & raised in Los Angeles). The store itself is huge, it has two floors, each of which take about 10 minutes just to look round! The ground floor has been designated as an entire running section. The men’s stuff can be found at the front of the store and the women’s at the back of the store. They have a huge selection of running shoes(road, track, hiking — you name it), they also have a huge range of jackets, t-shirts, pants, shorts, socks and backpacks all designed for running in every colour imaginable. Upstairs has a pretty cool layout as the different sports have their own sections. There is a basketball section, a football section, a golf section and a casual wear section for adults and kids. Each section has all the very latest products available. Another thing I really like about this store is that upstairs they also have two computers which allow you to access the Nike ID facility which means you can design or customise your own products and even put your own ID on them which I think is really cool. Also, this store is also pretty good at stocking limited edition products. For example, rare basketball shoes that only have a certain amount made will usually be stocked here on a first come first serve basis, so it’s not uncommon to see queues appearing outside the store hours before they open on release days. I’d definitely recommend this place as worth a visit as most sport fans should find something they like. In general don’t expect to find too many bargains in here, it can be pretty pricey, but you get what you pay for here. A bonus is that they do occasionally have some very good sales in here, sometimes as much as 50% off, but you better be quick as the stuff usually goes fast!
