So back in Glasgow on holiday from the US& in need of some amazing Indian Food. I go to The Spice Garden. I was not dissapointed. It was awesome. The food exceeded all expectations. It was empty there which I find unbelievable, maybe it’s because of the location, under one of the city bridges with street parking which can be a challenge I guess. The food was outstanding. Period.

An excellent Indian that is well worth a visit. It is open to 4 also serving alcohol till then so perfect for a late night curry. The only problem is where it is located, not being really near any of the main nightlife centres in Glasgow. It is located under one of the bridges which run over the Clyde and a short taxi ride from the city centre would be the best way to get here although walking if in a group would not take long and should be safe enough as well. But failing that they do home delivery and provide some of the best curries I have tasted and cater to all needs, are very amicable and priced reasonably.

I can never understand why this place is not jam packed full all the time, their food is good, their staff are very very very friendly and they are always quick to serve. Before I moved away from the area this used to be my local curry house, and being open to 4am it was always handy when I finish work at midnight. Now I get deliveries from them since I do miss the taste. Their food is fantastic if you like curries, they will cook it to taste(if you want it a little hotter no problem) and unlike a lot of curry houses they don’t just add a tonne of chilli oil to heat the dishes up, they use proper spices and cook with care. Not terrible for prices(although not fantastic!) but the food is well worth it. Just a tip: Try the chicken tikka chasni yummmmm!
