You want lunch food? Bog-standard, everyday lunch food, nothing fancy, just something tasty that will hit the spot? Tiffany’s is the place! Came here a couple of days ago with colleagues as we had training in the city centre, and it suited(almost) all 4 of us very well! They do your usual lunch options: baked potatoes, toasties, panini, soup and various other sandwiches. Only one of my colleagues didn’t manage to find anything to eat, but she is mega-mega-MEGA fussy, so I would urge Tiffany’s not to take it personally. I got a tuna and cheese panino, while the others ordered a BLT roll and a steak and onion panino, all of which were enjoyed. Sometimes it’s difficult to get a café which just does simple lunch offerings and doesn’t charge you a ridiculous amount of pennies for it, but I can definitely see myself going back here if I’m ever in need of that again. It wasn’t massively busy either, which for around 1−2pm on a weekday in the city centre is nothing short of a miracle. 3 stars only because the tuna in my panino wasn’t exactly the best, particularly for £3-odd, but overall I enjoyed it! The BLT did look rather brilliant though, so I might go for that next time.

I went into here for the first time a few days ago and I was quite impressed. For a city center café this place had a nice, clean freshness to it. For under 5 gold coins I went away with a rather lovely baked potato filled with chicken mayo. The lass I spoke with was very friendly, helpful and apologetic, they didn’t have any of the chicken tikka that I originally wanted, but the alternative was just as good. The cakes and fancy pieces looked impressive, but alas, I’m trying so hard to be disciplined. One day cakes, oh yes, one day.
