One of my colleagues sent me the link to this place knowing that I like to try out new places for lunch. I went along today and was not disappointed. Laura posts up on her Facebook what the menu is for that day and I was able to email her to keep my order waiting for me as she can sometimes sell out quickly. Laura couldnt have been nicer and gave great customer service The food is fresh and made to order. I opted for a sweet chilli chicken sandwich and a latte. It was served on tiger bread, which made it even better for me as I love the stuff! And the filling was delicious, not like your bog standard sandwiches. My friend had the veggie chilli and was equally impressed. The sandwich was £3 and latte £2 which for the city centre and items made fresh then I think is a great price for lunch. Laura even did a meal deal where I got both for £4.50. I dont drink coffee that often so cant comment on the quality but to me it tastes like a decent coffee! I definitely recommend this place to anyone to visit. Its a local business and Laura is doing a great job with it. And its in a Tardis too which is just another bonus! Im looking forward to going there again

I love visiting new places, so when I saw that brewbox was open I nipped up to try their wares today. Or rather, I nipped up try her wares, as Brewbox is owned and manned by Laura who makes all of the delicious offerings fresh every week. It was lunchtime so I opted for soup and a sandwich. A spicy Vietnamese peanut soup, and a emon and basil chicken sandwich, served on thick fresh white bread. I’ll start with the soup. Oh my heavens, it’s packed! I’m not quite sure exactly what’s in there but it is vegan friendly, full of peanuts, tomato, spring onions, a pulse of some description… chunks of sweet potato maybe? Look, the important thing is that it was a deliciously thick and filling soup, with a good heat(although I added extra chillis too) — it’s the kind of thing I should make at home more often. All for £3, and you get to choose to add chilli and coriander if you want them. I’m already planning to go back for more! The sandwich was a nice, calming, influence after the spicy soup, moist tender chicken, on soft soft bread, a lovely sandwich indeed! But above all this is a local business, so I’ll be walking the extra 30 seconds past Subway and heading here more often I think. The menu should change every week or so but as this was only the second day it was opened I’m sure it’ll find its feet. And what a great use for an old police box! I can’t comment on the coffee, yet, but stay tuned because I will!
