It’s true that you can’t get wireless in here, not a dedicated network and not Openzone, either. However, I have absolutely nothing else negative to say about it. I’ve been in three or four times, and everything I’ve had to eat or drink has been reasonably priced and really nice. It’s a good looking, comfy place, and the staff are friendly. Also, I’ve noticed that they always seem to be playing decent music. All their tables have two seats and a lot of the business is take-away. It’s a one friend or by yourself kind of place. BTW, person below, I think«Wanamoka» is a takeoff on «Want a Mocha.»

This is a little sandwich shop which has opened recently on Aitkenhead Road. It’s actually not bad — small and a little cluttered but sometimes that is a good thing. However, I once popped in for a sandwich with boyfriend and was slightly underwhelmed with my chicken mayonnaise roll(no salad) especially when my boyfriend told me the next day that he saw someone getting the same roll heaped with salad and cheese and all sorts. My own fault for not asking, dammit. The name is curious — it doesn’t seem to mean anything! The coffee is good though and for some reason it seems to have brought the average age of this little strip of shops down by about 20 years or so. Suddenly folk in their early twenties are dotted about drinking take away coffees and sitting in reading the paper. Can only be a good thing.
