King Edward Vii

Really nice pub with a good atmosphere, friendly staff. Good offer on food (11.50 Gbp a three course dish) and a great tast. They are selling a huge variety on real cask ale. No complains, absolutly recommend it.

Food good. Outdoor seating could do with a clean. No children or dogs allowed in pub.

My local, great pub with friendly staff and decent food.

As my local I find this pub very relaxing and welcoming. They do some great real ales especially during their ale festival. The food is good and wholesome some of which are on specials i. e curry night or steak night which usually includes a drink as well so even more of a bargain. They have no loud music or a sports screen so you can sit and chat whilst having a drink which in my mind is what a pub is about. There are little alcoves as well with lovely comfy seats and with the weather closing in they have roaring fires so be prepared to be warm.
The pub doesn’t allow children under the age of 14 which can be a bit of a bug bear but during the summer you can sit outside and have a drink although this fronts onto a main road so not a quiet drink as such.
All in all a lovely pub.
