Food is lacking substance and flavour but glad it was done in time for my flight! The steak was a let done, don’t order that!

Reasonable prices, friendly staff but fairly horrific food. I got s burgerless bun, and the«burger» tasted like a Salisbury steak patty. Unfortunately the UK is not known for its food and in this case, it’s all true. There is a fancy caviar place right next door if you are feeling spendy.

So I expect to be ripped off in an airport. It’s fine — I get it guys, just don’t be underhand with it. I ordered a large breakfast, «would you like toast with that?» Yes I want fucking toast with it. I also like my cars with wheels and my coffee served in a cup of some kind. Extra 2 quid for toast, and the ‘extra toast’ is hidden in the sides section of the menu rather than next to the breakfasts. Got tutted at by the waitress when I asked how much extra the toast was and how many pieces of bread you get. «It’s written here sir in the sides.»(Yeah, as far away on the menu from the breakfast items as possible). Food was a fry up on a plate at a table(at least I didn’t have to pay extra for that rather than having it dumped directly onto my lap) Also didn’t like being told where to sit — it’s not a packed fancy restaurant with reserved tables, it’s a chain pub(sorry ‘bar and eating house’). Death to intentionally misleading menus. It just conjured up the image in my mind when the slimy prick that came up with the idea pitched it to a table of people. It doesn’t add £2 to every bill by putting your customers on the spot when ordering — like I said I’m in an airport, I’m expecting to pay a premium. It just starts the order off on the wrong foot and leaves a sour taste in the mouth of the customer and no doubt a dent in the tips of your staff.

fries were okay but burger patty reminded me of those that are prefabricated and frozen – did not have normal texture and flavor of ground beef…

Great Service. Well managed and very friendly for as busy as they always are. I eat here on most of my frequent flights through London. Highly recommend the eggs benedict… With a beer and black coffee… :)

For an airport bar/restaurant the ambiance here is pretty good. Fairly quiet when I visited so YMMV but the interior design is modern and clean and the service was good. Bass, Stella, Staropramen, Aspall, Guinness, Beck’s Vier and Carling available on tap. Expensive compared to your local but still a good selection considering the location.

Killing time before our flight, we just wanted to sit and relax and grab ourselves one last pint to toast a fabulous vacation! For an airport restaurant it had quite a menu, not your typical fare you would find in the states. We snacked on some onion rings. They weren’t anything special, but we weren’t expecting to be blown away. We were in the airport, after all. The staff was friendly, though quite busy, as this is one of the few places to get more than just a cup of coffee in Terminal 4. Wouldn’t recommend if you have a tight connection or not a while before your flight unless you’re sitting at the bar for a beer.

This bar/restaurant is one of the few places in terminal 4 where you can get something to eat. It is normally crowdy. Here you can get different kinds of burgers, pizza, salads and more. They even serve fish and chips. I had the haloumi skewers served with vegetables and couscous. This was nice. Don’t expect a posh restaurant, but the food is okay and the service is as well.

I don’t think that is spelled correctly, but this place is packed. Our flight was significantly delayed, so we got a food voucher. That is the only reason we stopped here. We both had the beef stew pie which was pretty basic. Beef stew, pie crust on the side, but described as «open» with mashed potatoes and peas. Beer on tap with heir own brand and a few others. Maybe a sandwich would have been better. Atmosphere seems decent, but other than that, not an exciting menu which was to be expected.
