Delboys

This shop is one of my favourite places to visit in Hastings! Situated on Castle street, the shop is conveniently central and close to the beach, and hence stocks plenty of beach parafanalia: sun hats, sunglasses, beach mats, buckets and spades etc. But this stock isn’t what attracts me — they also sell a wide range of completely random stuff, and I never know what’s going to be on offer from one month to the next. I still wistfully recall the time when they were selling beautiful butterfly hairclips at a pound for a dozen — I wish I’d really stocked up, as I’ve never found them anywhere since! If you’re looking for plastic toy guns, make-​it-​yourself airplanes, loo brushes and sunglasses, then this is the shop for you!
