Been here a few times and its one of those pubs where you feel like you’re getting a warm welcome no matter what time of the year. It doesn’t rely on gimmicks or cheap, microwaved food prices but you can get decent ale, good local Pembrokeshire food(like mackerel that other chain pubs in the area can’t sell) all done with a sense of pride. Some nights it’s packed to the rafters and you have to wait for a seat but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Sky sports fans are catered for but there is a non sports and tv area for those who wish. Not stuck out in the wilds nor too close to town it’s worth checking out. Updated. Had a sunday lunch just this past weekend and it’s been a very long time since I’ve had something as flavoursome with the bonus of being served in the evening after a very wet sunday outside.
