Well another Starbucks, same menu. We all know what we are getting with this. The same décor(this one does have outdoor seating in the square), exact same menu, same hiked priced, and The exact same experience you would get anywhere else. There is nothing special about this Starbucks, but nothing terrible, which is why it rates 3 stars. Recommend finding a local shop down the street instead. Get out of the chains and experience something different.

A cute location with a good atmosphere. Friendly staff and good coffee(especially when you’re missing some of the good ol’ American staples!). There’s a lot of seating and it doesn’t typically fill up completely. They have a decent public restroom in the back. Convenient location in a market/downtown area of town.

Decent coffee and wide variety of choices of drinks and sandwiches. Clean and busy shop which can suffer from being too popular. I’ve always had to wait more than 5 mins for a drink to be made at weekends. Okay its a large store chain but no «independants» have offered any serious competition; they are around but are too tacky to visit. Busy with College students and visitors to town. Also has the advantage of a large external area with chairs to watch the Toffs go by.

I prefer good independent coffee houses with character. That said, Starbucks are highly-rated as an employer(I’ve never worked for them) especially in the US where employees usually treated badly. As you’d expect, the Henley Starbucks is identical to all others in terms of décor and drinks, but awash with wealthy«armored personnel buggy» weilding yummy mummies, blocking the isles and taking way too long to order.

Ugh! Another Starbucks rears it’s ugly head in the UK. As with all Starbucks, this place is generally packed with Friends wannabes chatting over a cup of ludicrously overpriced coffee. They also have tables and chairs out in the Market Place to cope with the inevitable over spill of yuppies. They open at the crack of dawn to catch the commuters waiting at the bus stop outside and close late to catch them coming back again. In terms of what is being served, it’s no different from any other Starbucks that you stumble over on nearly every High Street in Britain. In terms of price, the same applies. Hugely expensive.
