Walked in, were«scolded» by a waitress(pregnant lady) about sitting down before we were told to be seated(there was no visible sign indicating such and other patrons were not told to wait before sitting down). I felt like walking out then and there, but didn’t say anything. Food was horrid — spouse’s chicken wrap was adequate but VERY small portion for the price and the salad was hardly Middle-Eastern. My egg, olive and«falafel» breakfast was hideous. Greasy. The only good thing was the coffee. In Canadian dollars — $ 45.00 for a crap meal and being scolded like children upon arrival. I did not leave a tip. They did not deserve it.

I was actually quite surprised by some of the food options at North Terminal(not the biggest place but punching above its weight compared with some other much bigger airports) when flying from Gatwick last night. First tip is to make sure you leave plenty of time to get here — for my 7pm flight I had to leave Farringdon at 4(train at 415pm) and still only got through security at 550pm… So a quick decision was to be made and I chose CL. First off I went here when they first opened in Manchester last year and it was ok but a bit meh. Saying that this time I thought I’d give it another crack as I really fancied some tasty Middle Eastern food and something healthy. And yeah — 4 stars — a good choice! Highlights were the Baba Ganush, the Lamb Kofta and the iced rose mint tea(perfect to refresh after dashing across town all afternoon) — very friendly staff and good service — I’d happily visit again(and their Manchester branch now)

Did the cold mezze tour so did not try the hot food, very enjoyable. For sure not the best Lebanese food I had but better then boring airport sandwiches or the horrible JO food.(Sorry not a fan of his chains) Only negative comment I have are the serving bowls, they look to cheap. A large restaurant group like this could do better. Lady in waiting staff very friendly, quick and professional. Their cooking book is really cool.

Dry falafel, oh so dry. Comptoir Libanais basically gets three stars for saving me from another Pret sandwich in Gatwick airport, but by no means was I impressed by the quality of their falafel. Perhaps they forgot to add the tahini sauce, and there was no hummus involved, so there was nothing to salvage the dry ball of falafel. The falafel was pre-made, so they just had to heat it up. At least it was fast, even if the service wasn’t the friendliest. I would probably eat here again, if only for the lack of options in the North Terminal, but I will definitely need a drink to wash it down.

This is the best place to eat in the north terminal of London gatwick when you go past security. Avoid weatherspoons down stairs and garfunkels etc as this place is much better. My wife had the humous and the lamb and prune tangine.(see photo) Both were tasty and fresh. Not as good as if you are in Morocco(it is an airport after all!) but certainly better than anything else in the terminal that I have experienced.(I fly through here frequently) I had a mixed plate mezze platter(see picture) and it was tasty. I got it as a main meal for £14.95 and its well worth the money. The booze is a bit overpriced but again it is an airport. Stick to soft drinks or water here go for a beer /wine in weatherspoons after your meal where the booze is cheaper.

Tucked away in a corner of the food-mezzanine in Gatwick North Terminal this is a good alternative to everything else on offer in the airport. Airport pricing meant that it is not cheap but nor is it expensive; it’s just too much for what we got. But I would go back as it’s better than anything else in Gatwick. The food was all good and tasty and the wraps we had were freshly made — just a little on the mean side for the price.

Food tastes dry and not of good quality. Mediocre. I had the falafel and the mint tea. Mint tea smelt very good and was okay. The falafel was dry and the pita bread felt like it may have been microwaved. The salad that came with it also wasnt very tasty. The décor of the restaurant is nice, but it cannot make up for the poor food. The waitresses were not very nice or professional. They talked loudly about how tables should be cleaned etc. rather than making it a nice relaxing environment to have dinner in. I dont really care about service if the food is good, but I would say that in this case, both require improvement.

Great food, 50⁄50 service – it definitely gets the job done before or after a flight. Nicely filling.

I had been wanting to try their locations in London so was happy to give it a go at the airport before jetting off. Tasty hummus and the falafel and fattoush salad was good(although no pita chips which was disappointing!!) My partner had the kofte tagine. Not sure how authentic this is but he enjoyed it.

One question: what’s the point of an airport restaurant that takes 15 minutes to make a burger at noon? Even when the ‘quick’ tagine came, it was only lukewarm, not hot: a request to warm it up brought it back slightly less lukewarm. Tasty enough, but this place is badly run…

Fantastic food, fantastic friendly service. It’s a shame it’s planted inside Gatwick Airport thus forcing up the prices to something more than the norm, however it’s definitely one of the few restaurants there you will find value for money. Highly recommend the«open omelette».

The food was really nice, tasty and fresh. Try their summer lemonades! I had one with apple, ginger and mint. very refreshing. The service was very friendly and quick. They also give you an option to ask for bill upfront with your food being brought to your table, so you can eat at leisure and make the plane without stressing too much. Restaurant offers take away service as well.

Remarkably fast and very friendly service. 3 mins to order 5 mins to beverages(wine and beer). The good portions are great and it offers all the classic Lebanese food you would expect. Beats the Mexican option by a mile.
