This review is specifically for Clarins. I went in today to buy something, the woman in there was incredibly unhelpful and shouted over«Do you know what you want» while serving someone for a sandwich. I then asked about the product and she was so rude I just decided I would rather buy elsewhere. Will be going to Harvey Nichol’s Charlotte Tilbury Dept instead.

This branch of Boots is absolutely massive! You can find everything makeup/cosmetic/pharmacy related that you would ever desire. The make up section is particularly expansive with countless over made-up ladies selling the brands from Urban Decay to Ruby and Millie to other fancier brands that I have never and don’t care to hear of. The make up is not what I really go in here for though, rather its the photography section upstairs that pulls me in. There are several points where you can print your digital photos from whilst you wait from CDs, memory cards or USBs. There’s never a long que as there are so many available. Next to the photography section there is a large baby section selling toys, dummies and clothes. On the same floor you can find an opticians.

I think I should have my own bed set up in Boots. The amount of times I pop in here and spend a small fortune is ridiculous. What makes it worse is that the Urban Decay cosultant knows me that well that she says hello to me if I see her in the street. Proof that I spend more time playing with cosmetics than studying for my degree. Anyway, Boots on Albion Arcade have a huge arrangement of make-up brands like Benefit(love it!), Urban Decay(love that too!), Estee Lauder(love that aswell! and Dior(bet you’ve guessed what I was going to say!). And they have millions of different perfume brands and specialist skincare too. It’s more of a Boots superstore which also has an upper floor hosting electricals and the photo printing section etc… It’s worth a visit to pick up some nice beauty buys… don’t forget to use your advantage card!

This is the biggest boots store in Leeds and offers all their services. There is a large, but very busy, pharmacy on the ground floor, an opticians on the first floor and also a photo developers on the first floor. As a shopper I love this store, it’s got a nice big selection of all the cosmetics and toiletries under the sun, you can usually find what you want, from that unusual nail polish to the SLS and paraben free toiletries for babies. When I had my son I headed to Boots one shopping day to change his lovely bum and buy a few bits and bobs. I also needed to feed him and thought I might find some time out and privacy in the mother and baby room. No such luck. It stinks of poo — like the bins are never changed and there is no comfy place in there to breast feed. Also, there are no toilets for the mummys. This is bad, mummys have needs too.
