As the name suggests their strong suit is the pizza. Nepalese style, so thin base and perfectly cooked. Good variety of toppings available and some new combinations that are just so tasty I gobbled it up in a minute! They do also offer tapas style portions of Italian dishes. Great way to share a meal and try a variety of what they have on offer. Cocktails are available but I wouldn’t recommend them so stick to wine and beer. Tastecard do 50% off for up to 4 people and this pace is huge so no worries to go with a group.

Go! Best pizza I’ve had in ages. Brilliant service and good cocktails too. Would recommend

Buca Di Pizza has recently opened in the Wellington Street location previously occupied by La Grillade. It’s surprisingly cavernous inside with a pretty, candlelit interior. It must seat loads of people but was quiet when we went in on a Wednesday night. The pizzas are beautiful, exactly how I like them, with a thin crust and gooey top. We had the Frutti Di Mare from the more traditional part of the menu and the Hickory Pig(pulled pork) from the non-traditional side. Both were delish. Service was great. They serve reasonably priced drinks and have a decent range of beers and a thoughtful cocktail menu. They have a picture of a weird prince in the back room that looks a bit like George Osborne. I would definitely revisit but not because of that!
