I’m sure they sell lots of mobile phones etc here and I really don’t have a problem with that, EE is as good as any other. My problem is with the after sales service. I don’t intend to go into detail because the specifics of the issue aren’t relevant. What is relevant is the knowledge and attitude of the staff. I required a repair which I felt was covered by my warranty and the phone was duly sent off to the repair centre(which i will review separately). Over the course of two months I made several visits to the EE shop to chase up the repair. Staff told me that the repair was nothing to do with them and when I asked them to contact the repair centre(because the repair centre asked me to) they didn’t seem sure how to do this and what to say. Throughout the whole sorry two months I was repeatedly fobbed off and mislead and none of the staff I spoke to seemed interested in really dealing with my problem. The best summing up of the attitude I encountered is encapsulated in a direct quote of one of the sales staff ’I’m sorry but it’s not our problem, we just sell them’ For a communication company EE’s communication sucks.
