After a night of drowning my Xmas sorrows with my youngest sibling I was in need of food– and kebab is always the default option!!! She only eats chips & cheese so anywhere suits her but I have to have kebab! Being as we had to trek to the station to get a taxi we passed Mill Hill. Now I’d usually ask the taxi to take a detour past my very regular kebab shop but seeing as there was no Q and the place was clean and it actually smelled appetising we popped in! Kebab meat and salad on chips and cheese is usually something ppl get wrong(there is a specific science to it!!!) but they got it right– with a very short wait. It didn’t last long– tasty enough to demolish every last scrap! The downfalls here are– It gets MEGA busy and due to this is gets food remnants and packaging left on tables so doesn’t look inviting They never seem to have enough staff so sometimes you have to wait AGES!(or what feels like ages when you’re drunk!) They also cook food to order so there is a wait(also a plus I’d say!) All in all it’s a reliable stop off point for a late night feed(just don’t go past in the daylight!)

After waiting 20 mins in a place which smells awful and like a toilet. I’m giving it 1* as the chicken wasn’t bad

Wow, I’m surprised this place is getting such a bad rap on here, but then I am one of those drunkards who visit here as I’m staggering home: o) Ok, so it is just an average takeaway, but the guys who run this place always take time out to say hello & ask how I am — probably as I significantly boost their takings every week! But, can’t say I’ve ever had any bad food from here. I have in fact even had a sober kebab from Mill Hill and very much enjoyed it. In fact, if I was getting the food at half price, or even free I’d be giving it 5 stars! Haha

Mill Hill — kebabs, pizza, chicken, burgers, chips. Nothing more, nothing less. People who frequent here are Cockpit drunks or people weaning their way back to the train station after a drunken night out. I however have been when not drunk and L.O.V.E it. Their take on KFC’s tower burger at £3.75 including a drink and chips is absolutely delish. Admittedly this isn’t the place to go if your watching your size, but everyone deserves a treat now and again, right? Grease, saturated fat and salt, salt, salt aside, Mill Hill is a great place to go if you feel like indulging in some fast food, fast it is and tasty too. One thing i do have to say is, do not order from them on , although they are available on the website they never have a driver to deliver food and i have caught them out on using the excuse that they didn’t receive my order. This is not the kind of eatery you go out of your way to eat at, however if your a passer by and fancy a bit of grease galore then this is the place for you.

Awh man, who hasn’t eaten here and felt violently ill almost immediately after. One of those rare misguided moments when you think it’ll be a good idea, as you and a few mates wander back up to the train station, feel peckish, but don’t have the energy to wait in line with the rest of the people in need of food at McDonalds and Burger King when you get to the station. When someone serves such a varied range of food products in different food genres, alarm bells often ring, jack of all trades master of none comes to mind. Mill Hill will offer you pizzas, burgers, paninis, kebabs, wraps and general chicken pieces in a box. Needless to say there’s a lot of grease used, and this is evident as you pick up a burger and watch it fall into the polystyrene tray. It’s food for the people you know who have an iron stomach, aren’t too fussy on the taste, and are wallet conscious. Some of the lads didn’t mind it, but the girlies were really not impressed. It doesn’t look the cleanest place you could go and it’s making me cringe just thinking about it.
