Having seen Sania Spice crop up on Unilocal,I decided to call on them for my tea the other day. Once again I was Just Eat-ing, and they had an offer of 25% off on orders over £15. Whilst that amount of food really wasn’t neccesary, I decided to throw caution to the wind, and give them a go — after all, they’re right in my area. I opted for my favourite, Butter Chicken and Makhani chicken, complete with chips and mushroom pilau. Although the order was due to arrive in an hour, no more than half an hour later, a knock at the door sounded out. Perfect– I was more than ready to stuff myself silly with curry. The delivery chap was lovely, and mentioned that he’d thrown in some poppadoms and dips with the order, which was truly lovely. They were all boxed up in little tubs, and whilst I didn’t quite have the appetite for two full dishes, let alone dips, I’m planning on enjoying those at a later date! As for the curries, the sauces were delicious. Perhaps a little runnier than from my usual take away, and there’s a little less chicken, but as I said — one dish is more than enough for one person. The only slight let down were the chips, which are fries really, and they just weren’t quite as nice as I’ve had from other places. That being said, I realise I’m probably one of the few people who need to bump up curry with more carbs, so it’s not really an issue. The sauces were tasty, flavoursome, and the chicken itself was delicately spiced so I’m one happy camper, with a fridge full of leftovers to salivate over. I can see myself ordering here again! Totally bonus points for the extras, it’s a special touch.
