So, am not sure why this promotion is on but ever enthused at saving a penny or two I did a detour of my usually route to work to grab the offer of a £1.50 Tall Latte this morning. This branch of Starbucks has parking outside(!) obviously limited spaces, has a large seating area and always seems to be full of the ‘yummy-mummy’ types! There was quite a few people in there today(9am), around 10⁄12 people but none in the Q so I got served straight away! The server helped me discover that I could pre-load my then empty payment card(like a loyalty scheme/clubcard thing) and earn points for today’s purchase! Very useful info indeed. So, card topped up, coffee received at a bargain price and all within 7⁄8 minutes. Very efficient service, all areas appeared nice and clean and the coffee was just what I wanted. Happy Latte Monday!

Of course, that’s just what a small road strip with a handful of shops(three being coffee shops) needs, a Starbucks. How could I have been as silly as to believe that a suburb would be beyond the reach of this slippery multination corporation. Hurrah for getting your teeth into another street, let’s here it for Starbucks, yey! Sorry, do I need to write anything about what you’ll find inside surely from their endemic presence in every town we all know what to expect.
