Situated in the stylish Brewery Wharf area of Leeds, the Waterfall Spa is a luxury ladies only day spa. Tucked discreetly away, it provides the neighbourhood with a touch of class. A kind relative bought me a voucher for the Waterfall Spa for my September birthday and by the time November had reared its ugly head, I decided the cold weather provided a good excuse to go and receive some pampering. I booked a Coconut Sugar Body Polish. After being seen by the personable staff on reception, I was provided with a lovely fruit tea, and asked to wait in a separate room. It was a delightful environment in which to relax, it was comfortingly warm and the air was filled with oils of varying aromas. The massage itself was excellent. The beautician was very friendly, explaining what she was using whilst ensuring I was happy throughout the process. I have no shame in admitting that I fell asleep towards the end of the massage, and was considerately left alone to reawaken myself and get dressed! I am on the mailing list for the Waterfall Spa and often get sent some reasonable special offers to use. Currently, there is a 2 for 1 evening pass for £45. There is the option to bring a friend or simply use the voucher twice yourself, for a evening using the spa facilities. As a recipient of a gift voucher, I would highly recommend the experience. There are a wide range of pampering packages to purchase, along with many products for the body and skin. With some of the special offers refusing to break the bank, maybe I will work on making this a regular luxury.

Looks fab and their products smell gorgeous and that is where the good part stops. When I had the pleasure of a day here as a birthday treat I had to leave. The products on the ’ day pass’ will entertain for maybe 3 hours. The products not included in your day pass are very pricey. The slippers rip down the sides in half hour. The jacuzzi you have to wait for others to get out as its like a three way cycle so in between there is a hot/cold ‘experiance shower’ which has red and blue lights on it and thats it, no differance from a normal shower to which there are also two of them to use. A steam room which switched off constantly, a relax room with beds in and metal beaded curtains, looks lovely, until the woman next to you starts snoring her head off. And last but not least the sauna but seens how everyone else is waiting for the jacuzzi or escaping the snorer your fighting for space. To end it all you get to use the spa products and a shower to clean off before you leave. Beware if more than two girls in the same shower room, pressure and temperature goes out of the window. I rinsed my hair in the sink. Staff where ok but get 4 emails a week asking me to buy/book/save 10% so avoid giving details ! This place is not suitable for couples as it is women only. To be fair When emailed on my opinion I did complain and received a free half day and treatment which is very nice but I would not want to go back.
