Starbucks Coffee

This place is a bit hidden away and overpowered by local competition — it doesn’t help that when I visited this morning they are doing work on the building meaning that the coffee shop is even more hidden! But, once inside the staff are friendly, the coffee is up to the usual high standards and better still you can use your reward card! The place does seem dismal at the moment because of the work but hopefully this will improve!

Located in a popular area of Liverpool with good public transport access. Although not busy when I was there, only 2 members of staff present. What overall struck me about this place was the unclean tables and super small toilet cubicles (one had no paper and both not the most sparkling you have ever seen!), in both the paper was almost out of reach (behind you) and leaning one way too much set off the hand-​dryer located just above your left shoulder!
That said (hence only 2 stars!) the store itself was od usual standard with lots of seating and very limited comfortable seating around the edges!
I won’t be rushing back unless the location of it is the only redeeming feature!
LATER THAT MORNING…
As my morning meeting was cancelled I decided to stay around and work from inside the store as I had a comfy seat and great coffee on hand! I went and bought some fruit toast a lemon muffin and another coffee. The staff that served me could not have been more disinterested, had she shown me an ounce of care she had shown her false nails and hair then I would have had a 5* amazing experience! The fruit toast (see pic) was as she thought, fit enough ti serve! I spent just under £10 in total, more than the average Joe Public that day I would guess and to be treated in this way is appalling… SHAME ON YOU STARBUCKS OLD HALL STREET… Hence I reduced the star rating after this from 2 to 1…
AVOID THIS STORE AND CHOOSE ANOTHER, if you cant find another Starbucks there is a welcoming Costa at the bottom of the Street /​junction of Tithebarn St.
