I came here because of the reviews even though it seemed like a mediocre chain but was very impressed. Only stayed for one night so many of the extended stay services were not used but still a great place. Location is fantastic, short walk to Albert Dock or LiverpoolOne. Front desk staff was always friendly and fast. Got checked in quickly, covered everything that I needed to know. Gave perfect directions and a map to dinner. Also quick check out. Room was very spacious. One bedroom and a lounge/kitchen. Big bonus was that the sleep sofa in the lounge was already made when I got there. My only complaint is the parking deck gets filled quickly so you need to park at a public deck, though they give you a discounted rate it adds a five minute walk(not a big deal and not worth removing a star). Would definitely stay again.

This is a great place to stay in Liverpool. Clean little apartment, homely feel and good cooked and continental breakfast. The room features a small, but well equipped kitchen, and a desk to work at. A large comfy bed and a 2 sweater settee complete the bedroom/diner. Great power shower wakes you up in time for a limited, but good cooked breakfast selection and large choice of continental fare. A nice touch is the choice of juices in the fridge. This is a different feel to a Holiday Inn Express, and in my opinion is preferable.

Strange beast this amongst all the hotels in the city of Liverpool, strange not in a bad sense strange in a“ooooh I’m intrigued” kind of sense. You see I love apartment hotels, yet the origins of where it all started is unclear. Well if I may speculate for a moment Staybridge might be one of the pioneers of this particular branch of the hospitality market. You see the story starts in the US when these guys first came to the fore catering for the midweek corporate market in the late 90’s. There was a change at that time where clients were entertained in a more informal manner in homely conditions such as apartments. It’s heck of a lot cheaper than hiring out a conference or meeting room and a more relaxed environment made every one happy bunnies. Now since the late 1990’s this hotel chain or brand whatever you want to call it has grown rapidly to its current state holding over 180 hotels around the world and another 115 in the pipeline. It’s actually even bigger if you take into account its owned by Inter Continental Hotel Group which has over 4000 hotels worldwide and is the biggest hotel chain in the world!!! Interesting fact finding mission and story over, you can imagine that this place isn’t going to be below average in terms of quality and its efficiency to deliver good service! No surprises then that majority of the business in this particular tiny spec of a branch in their global network comes from the corporate market. They probably get contracts with big companies with contractual agreement stipulating that their staff stay here in return for favorable rates. It is thus a member of the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce. The disadvantage of this corporate connection is that there is a slightly cold feel to the place, its not very homely! Since the whole point of an Apart hotel is that essence of home away from home this is not the ideal leisure stay option for customers. It is however a 4* hotel and a night will cost between £80-£100 thus comes with all the luxuries of an establishment of this level. In conclusion thus suits rejoice this place fits the bill for you ring them up reel off your companies credentials drive a hard bargain and you might get a decent year contract. The rest of you Unilocalers like moi opt for some of the other fantasmic apart hotel options the city has to offer!!!
