The bubble rooms are fantastic and I have always wondered about the reasoning behind the name. I did hazard a guess once when confronting the manager. I queried the connection between the monkey photos and a certain MJ pet bubbles. I was told this was not the reason, and many people had thought the same. In any case the restaurant bars are of a high quality, and reflect a relaxed opulent environment. During the day you an stop off for a spot of lunch amidst a sea of rich housewives equipped with babies and Louise Vuitton bags. The atmosphere really is chilled out however and I have never felt a sense of pretention despite the affluent nature of the areas they are located in. Not being of the pig eating variety for breakfast I have had and thoroughly enjoyed my egg benedicts with pancetta and homemade hollandaise sauce at the room of bubble. A pleasant surprise you will get when you rock up to this Woolton branch is instead of finding comfort food you will be taken back by a nice variety of original dishes. Haddock and chips? Nope… try free range orkney lamb with grain mustard & butternut squash, tapenade cous cous & spinach mmmmm I’d also recommend the 10oz aberdeen angus bubble burger served with mature cheddar, cherry tomato relish & chunky chips. It won’t hit the spot but bang on it as if it were a drum. The good thing about Bubble is that it manages to combine a restaurant style theme with a more casual dining environment. So whether it is the aforementioned treats or a steak and cheese ciabatta you can rest assured it will be delish and enjoyed in a chilled out satisfying environment.

The Bubble Room is a comfortable and relaxing restaurant in Woolton Village, it is hidden away and you could probably easily walk straight past it — however, I hope you don’t! They are a family run business with only three branches in the UK meaning that customer service is excellent. The food is delicious and cooked using local produce and ingredients. They serve a decent brunch from 11am-2pm, which is nice but a little steep at £5.95 for Eggs Benedict. You can also get a wide range of sandwiches and toasted ciabattas which are served between 11am and 5pm. When it comes to the main menu, you are spoilt for choice! I’d strongly recommend the chicken liver parfait to start(£6.95), the rump steak(£16.95) for a main, and the bitter chocolate fondant(£5.95) for dessert. In addition to this, the menu offers«Bubble Bites» which includes a range of salads and burgers etc. It can cost quite a bit for a three course meal and drinks for the evening, but for a more special occasion or one off — it is lovely.
