DISHONESTSELLER! I bought an American M65 camo jacket FAKE. Seller described it as authentic military issue. Jacket was displayed alongside second-hand uniforms. I asked why it was cheaper than others, was informed that it was part of the sale! SELLERDIDNOTISSUERECEIPT, UNABLETOGETREFUND. Discovered the con when I checked the label’s serial number on Google(8415−00−782−2933) and found that genuine military issue does NOT match the jacket wrong size and colour! Know your gear, people, and don’t be fooled by the store’s upmarket Notting Hill address! I’m out £35 disgusted.

Looking for the ultimate Halloween costume? Or just needing some surplus army boots as a gift for your momma? Army Classics has a huge array of uniforms(I’m not sure if they’re legit or made for the public market) with all the accessories you need to look like you’re serving. Wehrmacht? Check. US Special Forces? Check. British SAS? You betcha. These folks have the jackets and the trousers and the belts and holsters and to make you look as GI as the next guy. I did snap one picture, but they really do have signs up that pictures are not allowed. There are security cameras on each of the three floors to prevent theft and probably to catch neer-do-well’s like myself. Prices were high, but reasonable considering the specialty nature of their business, in line. They also carry a stock of touristy t-shirts and other tchotchkes you might find elsewhere or not.
