A brilliant open space in a fantastic location. I was here for the Grimm tales production. The production was amazing and partly worked so well due to the fantastic feeling this place has. Atmospheric and slightly decaying alongside the banks of the river. Absolutely fantastic.

The Bargehouse is a beautifully decaying building behind the more glamorous Oxo Tower and its designer workshops and shops. I have been to several art events here, most recently the London Analogue Festival. The building itself is a piece of art with its peeling paint and naturally patterned floors and I hope it will stay untouched for many more years to come — no more luxury flats, please!

The Bargehouse is a corporate event’s space /art space within the Oxo Tower Wharf. I’ve never been to the Bargehouse for any corporate events but I have been very recently to witness some fine art. You can see shows curated by artists, exhibitions and other arty odds and ends. The space is pretty huge spanning four floors and is just another facet to the wonderful Oxo Tower Wharf. This proves once again that the Southbank isn’t just the hub of food and tourism but innovative exhibitions and art shows. A must for any culture vulture!
