Probably one of my favourite coffee shops in SW6 and here is why. They do things like question of the day every Tuesday… in return you get a free muffin etc. They have a pretty cool back yard… And let’s not forget about the food(and they do everything on their menu to go for a few ££ less). So if you’re in the area, you should definitely pop in. The staff are super friendly… Who knows you may even get something for free…

Had high hopes but really wasn’t too impressed with this spot. The service was slightly inattentive, in that we had to ask to order after about 10−15mins(we where having brunch) and it was tough to get the attention of staff — could have been because it was slightly busy. The food and coffee was nothing special either. Unfortunately wont be going back.

I was in the area between some errands and needed to get a quick bite in before heading out to a play, and we dithered a bit between packing something for the ride and having a sit-down meal. Stopping by this cute establishment made up our minds — the garden at the back, the cozy nooks and corners in the café — it’s a meal in! We both went for a Bondi brekkie with a smoothie and a Veggie breakke with a coffee and loved them both — the addition of the corn fritter is a nice twist on the regular English breakfast fare… the food was delish, the service was friendly and prompt and the atmosphere cheerful for a sunny brunch on a summer day. We may be moving to this part of town in the near future so it’s good to tuck away this special spot as a potential favourite local haunt!

I’ve been here a couple of times for breakfast and coffee now, and I’ve had the same thing both times! I like this place. From the outside you’re not sure what you’re going to get, but I guess this is place is loosely Australian based; the names of some of the menu items give it away and the staff seem to all be from the land down under. Which, true to form, means excellent and well made coffees. The Bondi brekkie is well presented, tasty and a good feed. The corn fritter is a random yet welcome inclusion too! They’ve been happy to switch out cooked tomato for smashed avocado on both occasions, so I like the service here. I’ll definitely be back.

I have nothing really bad to say about this Australian café but neither was there much to really praise it for. It definitely needs to make slight improvements to stay in the competition in the area especially walking down Fulham Road and seeing restaurants with more attractive décor. The black logo and sign outside doesn’t really make a statement and fails to promote the Australian themed restaurant inside. Australian café menus are usually known for taking influences different cuisines and although there were pastas, kangaroo steak and Mediterranean influences from the Veggie brekkie it is still lacking that variety, especially from the South Asian cuisine. So brunch experience that Saturday morning was not as memorable as I would have liked it to be but some of the quality of the food did deliver. The café itself was very simple, white painted walls, modern contemporary artwork in very contemporary restaurant. It had a very home feel to it rather than a café which would have worked better if it was busier but instead it accentuated the emptiness of it, like being home alonr. The food was fine though. We decided to order the Bondi brekkie and the Veggie Brekkie which is equivalent to a Full English and a Vegetarian full English. There was a nice mix of ingredients and we really praised the chipolata and really enjoyed it compared to the usual sausage as it felt leaner and firmer being grilled rather than fried and there was really nice flavours coming from the herbs and spices inside. Bacon was lean and perfected salted so I wasn’t reaching out for water. The halloumi from the Veggie brekkie was also perfected grilled, salted and a nice smoky flavour coming through. Sadly the rest got a bit dull, They definitely could have done more with the mushrooms and tomatoes as they tasted too plain and lacked sweetness and seasoning. Toast tasted like they had been re-toasted so was overly dry and hard. It was like biting into a piece of rock. Corn fritters was a bit dry and bland, probably reheated as well as it was slightly chewy. Eggs were weirdly tasteless and bland with no apparent eggy yolky flavour at all and that was the same for both poached and scrambled. Quite disappointing. Chai Tea latte saved the day though with lovely notes of cinnamon and served in the perfect drinkable temperature and in a large tall cup as well. Service was efficient and smiley. Some of them were Australian which added to the authentic feel to it but it is a shame this is not visible on the menu options. There were some nice pasty selection on the counter which we didn’t get to try but did look appetising. Sadly Barossa won’t be a place I will be returning to personally as it is quite out of central London and nothing particularly outstanding to attract me back. It definitely needs to make it stand out if it wants to stay in the game.

Burger was okay but not great. A nice little place that has a great space to relax.

use to come here every weekend for at least coffee and pastries. staff should recognise me by now but are still snobby coffee use to be good but is only average now. ordered a stir fry for lunch and was served about 50g of chicken, limp vegetables, old overcooked broccoli — for 10 quid? have had better ready meals from tesco than this. Have had the pulled pork tacos which are terrible — sweet coleslaw served on mexican pork, not sure what kind of tastebuds the chef has Won’t be returning again. I use to recommend it to friends but definitely won’t be doing that again

Great little neighborhood place. I stop by often for morning coffee and croissants when in town. The take away service can be a little slow, but the coffee is great and worth the wait.
