Basic Salon

Booked an after-​work hair appointment at short notice. Very pleased with my haircut. The lady was friendly and helped me steer clear of an overly short cut.
Also, where else in London can you get a decent haircut for £20? (Or £18 if you’re a student)

So cheap for London but such a great service. Does what it says on the tin kinda thing. Don’t expect a ‘free’ champers to greet you but do expect lovely staff, a clean salon and a lovely experience.

This salon offers high-​end services at extremely low prices. I’ve had virtually every treatment on their menu, and I’ve never been unhappy. Rather, I’ve often been MORE satisfied than I was with high-​end salons that charged triple what Basic Salon does!
Waxing, haircuts, facials, mani-​pedis, body treatments… I’d recommend everything!

After discovering Basic salon a while ago I wouldn’t get my hair cut anywhere else. The stylists are great and very quick. The price is incredibly low for the service you get and everyone is super friendly. What’s not to love?

I was delighted with the service from Basics. I had a wash and cut, as well as my eyebrows reshaped. I was really impressed by the whole outfit, felt happier than when i’d spend £100’s elsewhere. I’ve been for 4 cuts here so far, all really good, different stylists. Freindly, professional and very relaxing. The stylists took time to understand what i wanted and checked in with me as we went along to ensure that they were getting it right. Which meant i didn’t spend the whole cut thinking «what are you doing? THAT’S TOO MUCH!!?»
I also really appreciated the speed, i wasn’t left alone for half an hour with drippy hair, it was efficient and has encouraged my to get my hair cut a bit more regularly as i don’t have to set aside a whole morning. i was very well looked after
And then there’s the price, soooo reasonable, you can save even more if you become a ‘member’ i can’t remeber how much, but they do lots of beauty treatments too, so if you use them, you might save a lot. But even without the discount, they are very upfront about their pricing, which is astoundingly reasonable

Don’t be fooled by the name. Though this salon offers dirt cheap treatments because it doubles as a training ground for the future waxers, pluckers and haircutters of London, the quality here is very high.
You can get pretty much everything done here hair and beauty wise and all of it is overseen my super experienced professionals. The training aspect means the place is also extremely clean.
Members also get an extra discount which is well worth the subscription
