Being in the Hampstead area and wanting a hot dog, looked on Unilocal and find this little place. The food reminded me of Christmas 2013 when I was in Slovakia at my friends house. Going by the reviews I went for the hot dog with the full works and it was so nice. The size was humongous, I couldn’t finish it. I really enjoyed it though and keep meaning to bring my Slovakian friend here but have never got round to it. I will defo be visiting again if I wanted a hot dog or even just to try some Polish food as its quite similar to Slovakian. If in the area, definitely pop in for a quick lunch.

Huge hot dog, can a soda, and a naughty jelly donut for 5 pound something!!! Man but Im a cheap date. But this place is so great. Polish café with a small eat in area. Everything looks(and is) fresh. Gentleman behind the counter was super awesome. I felt fancy even though I was ordering a hot dog. And he was very nice in warning me that there would be a 40p charge if I used my card but waived it later at the counter. Awwww thanks! Ordered the hot dog with bratwurst and the works(ketchup, mustard, sauerkraut and gherkins) and it was as close to a caspers as I’ve had thus far. I would have loved the mustard to be a bit spicier but still it was tasty as is. Fo sho coming back here again while I’m hanging around Hampstead for work training. ohmygoshyouguys I almost forgot the best part. If anything, you need to get a raspberry filled donut. The filling is REALRASPBERRY and the icing has some orange peel bits sprinkled and it’s huge. yu-friggin-um.

Now that’s how a Polish dog should taste. Dang good, but you pay a good price for it, but well worth it. My wife loved their pierogis

I miss you Beetroot, and your big ‘olé hotdogs too. You never let me done when I needed a cheap and cheerful lunch; often hard to find in Hampstead Heath. When feeling naughty I would order a hotdog with loads of ketchup. When feeling nice a fresh sandwich would do as my lunch just as well. Sigh… I no longer work up the block from you but I am sure we will see each other again. Until next time!

Shazam! Lunchtime takeaway perfection! If you’re in the mood for some Polish grub, you need to stop in for their polish sausages with the works. They’ve got a cheap & cheerful sandwich takeout, mains, soup of the day and it’s all much cheaper than going to M&S or the pubs nearby. A loaded hot dog will run you 3.40, and their sandwiches in the 2’s &3’s leaving you enough for some polish snacks from their pantry or some of the tempting juices in the cooler. Great food, and I’ll agree with the previous reviewer– v. friendly owners!

Always a friendly service. Great interior and the best home made soups in North London. Its a nice place to relax before heading on to the Heath.

Wonderful selection of Polish food to take away or sit down and eat. I work around the corner and buy lunch from here twice a week. Great quality food, good pricing, very friendly owners. Coffee not great but no worse than Starbucks!
