I was here once as a guest. These kind of places are great for an intimate night out with friends but they’re not where you’d go to chat and meet others unless you’re at some sort of networking event. Nice enough though.

Bisous was an accidental discovery, as it’s quite hidden in the basement level of a somewhat random street. The real giveaway to its existence are the purple lights emanating onto the ground level. The venue itself was gorgeous(glossy black floors with modern black furniture, chandeliers, and sparse ultraviolet lighting). However, aside from the house music playing, it was dead silent at 1am on a Friday night. Literally, my 8 – 9 friends and I were the only people there. It’d be a great place to host a party or large get-together, though, and in theory, I’d like to come back on a busier night. The bartenders claim that the place gets packed on weekends, but I live on Queensberry Place, and I can’t say I’ve ever seen people clamoring to get in…
