The female bartender was the shining star of this otherwise very mediocre experience. She gave us prompt attention and tried to make things right every time they went wrong, despite Guinness that tasted mostly like apple cider, no spoon for the Irish Stew, glasses with lipstick all over them, and delays in service due to an inattentive male bartender. Table was dirty, fruit flies abounded, and the food was entirely«meh»(Brogan burger [be excellent at your namesake food item please] and Irish stew). I love Irish food, I just don’t love it here. Thanks for trying blonde bartender, but this was more than you could make up for!

I like Brogan’s. I’d give them an additional star if(a) they weren’t quite so pricey and(b) they’d been showing the 3:00pm FA Cup match last week. The bartender gave my husband some bull**** story about why they didn’t, so we ended up not seeing Chelsea. Blah. Still, this is a good pub. The pint of Guinness is EXCELLENT, and they do better-than-average fish ‘n’ chips. Décor is warm and inviting. Wait staff are fine. They have to deal with a lots of cr*p before matches, I am sure — Stamford Bridge is just a block or two away. Overall, like this place very much.

Im a fan of both drinking in irish pubs and irish so needless to say what better way is there than to pop in here for a cheeky bev on the way home… Split on two levels with friendly staff and locals make the pub the way it is. I believe they have live music on friday nights which i am yet to check out. I am not sure just how busy this place gets as most times ive been there its been fairly empty. Still don’t mind it for an after work drink on the way from the tube home.

I like Brogans. It’s just outside the Fulham Broadway tube stop making it easy to access and easy to go home afterward. Once inside I found many different nooks and crannys and a huge wrap around bar with 2 levels. The restrooms are located on the lower floors and forget about minding the gap, mind your head if you are over 6 feet tall. A few of my mates headed over here to watch some footie. One area had a large projection tv and we were able to watch the game and also have sound. There was even a bar in this area so you could get served while watching. It wasn’t a top tier game so this particular bar was not manned at the time. I could definitely picture having a get together with a bunch of folks to watch a game and have personal service and be away from all the other patrons in the bar. There was also another nook which had a separate bar which could be used as a private party area. A couple of folks ordered some burgers. It did take an unusual amount of time to get the burgers out… you order at the bar and the bartender brings you your order. The burgers came out on a huge wooden tile/cutting board and looked great. I knicked a few chips from my mates and they were quite crunchy and pipping hot. Although the orders weren’t right, the Bartender did mentioned with a genuine smile, the chef was having a bad day. Nothing horrible, just bacon added when not ordered. By all accounts, folks enjoyed their orders. They have several beers on tap and pour a great Guinness. I stuck to lager on my visit, but did sneak a sip off a pint I bought a friend. Service was fine. I can definitely see this would be a great place to catch a sporting event and to have a good Craic…

My hippie, pot-smoking, surfer buddy from California came out and while walking around, he saw this place and was like, «Brooooogans! Gnarly bra! Let’s go grab a brewski.» Fine, that isn’t how it actually went down, but my mate and I still pronounce it like that guy would every time we are in Fulham. Finally stopped in for a post-match pint. The first thing I noticed is that is a very large pub, with multiple levels and areas for both watching sport, relaxing with mates, dining and more. After cruising around and checking out the full bar, I realised it is setup very similarly to Waxy O’Connors, which is fine, cause I like that place too. They show a number of sporting matches in here regularly and the food is your typical pub food. The chips we had were exactly what I wanted and expected.

Some pubs and bars try to be something they are not and it usually goes wrong and doesn’t work. Brogans is and Irish pub with a Victorian interior and Irish décor. Unsurprisingly the Guinness is great and the service is friendly. Food is good and is does what it says on the tin — sorted. A pub split onto a variety of different levels and you can find various nooks and crannies to hide away in or discover. Food is good, I ate on a Sunday and had a Sunday roast — very good meat and generous helping of vegetables for £7.50 — I have not come across food that good for that price anywhere in London? The normal menu looked perfectly adequate with a few Irish influences — Irish Stew, Full Irish breakfast along with some traditional dishes like shepherds pie, lamb shank etc. Yep, all in all a decent enough pub, would be ideal for tourists but I don’t think they have found it based on my experience. I would go back there again if I was passing or needed to meet someone down in Fulham.
