Looove the lazy fox. If you’re looking for a chilled environment, good food and a wall of beer, you’re sorted. The food is basic meals like hot dogs, done in the most awesome way. I had a hotdog with pulled pork and a cheesy sauce and it was amazing. The wall of beer keeps my boyfriend happy, where you just top up a card then help yourself to different beers from taps on the wall. The environment is casual and the staff are friendly and helpful

Fried mac and cheese balls, Taste Card offers and a Wall of Beer. Yes, a WALLOFBEER. That’s really all you should need to know to make you want to visit The Lazy Fox. This is a great local watering hole that is surprisingly scrappy(in a charming way) for Fulham. It has a great novelty wall of beer with a charge card system, featuring regularly revolving craft beers from all over. The food menu is simple, non pretentious and everything I’ve had so far has hit the spot. I heartily recommend.

I’m impressed by the wall of beer, amazing mac’n’chz and lovely staff. To top it off there’s plenty of room to sit on cozy sofas to read a good book or put together several tables and have a big dinner with friends. To top it off it’s a somewhat quiet pub, by London standards. We met friends for drinks on a Friday evening and no one had to shout to have a conversation!

We made a reservation here on a Saturday night, mainly because we had a Tastecard and it was close to where we were. When we walked in, we almost backtracked out the door as there was a «lads night out» kind of vibe. Once I figured out there had been a Chelsea game on earlier, it made more sense! We went all the way back into the dining room and found a bit of respite from the sporty crowd. My friend opted for the pork chop with mash while I had the trusty macaroni and cheese. Nothing spectacular but better than a lot of pubs out there which serve food. My friend found a hair in her salad and we were pretty sure it wasn’t her’s as her hair was tied back securely. Nevertheless, just a hair and once she got past that, the rest was tasty. A table near us ordered the mixed grill and it was stacked with meat and for a very reasonable price! The place has a great beer selection and I got the impression people frequented there more for drinks than the food. I’d pop in here for a pint or two but would probably venture somewhere else for dining. The staff were lovely and accommodating. As the night went on, the pub definitely filled up more.

I was pretty spoiled living right across the street from one of Chicago’s best craft beer pubs. Who knew that we would end up choosing a neighborhood with another stellar craft brew pub conveniently located stumbling distance from home? The Lazy Fox made an immediate impression on us with their focus on craft beer, the beer wall, and a few of our favorites that we haven’t seen yet on UK taps: Red Hook’s Longhammer IPA and Stone’s flagship IPA that put California hoppy goodness on the map. We both had the Red Hook on our first visit. We tried the Beer Wall on our second stop. This is a great idea that lets you sample a few of the taps. Trade your CC at the bar for a card that you plug in at the wall. It rings up the beer you drink on it and then you settle up when you’re done. My wife went right to the Stone. «That’s a strong one» she was warned by our server. Yep, just what we’ve been missing. I had the BrewDog IPA and it was fantastic. They got the fireplace going for us and we sat at a nice leather sectional couch with a tap in the middle of the table and had lunch. Chicken burger sandwich and chips for Kris, I had the Turkey burger. The turkey burger was really good and came with stuffing on top of the burger. We both enjoyed the chips and my wife couldn’t stop raving about them, or stop eating them. Staff have been really fun to chat with and we consistently have a blast here. Pretty much figured us to be regulars even before we realized that the food was excellent too. Outstanding taps and a solid kitchen with a cozy setting. We’re going to be here all the time. Cheers Lazy Fox, we love ya.

New management pledging a spirited joining of the craft beer resurgence, plenty of seating, good food and classy music(She and Him on one memorable occasion)… but for me the Lazy Fox scores 5 out of 5 for its innovative and apparently first in the UK ‘beer wall’. The beer wall is an array of six taps in the wall, each with an iPod screen above showing the drink, alcohol content and price per pint. Obtain a tab card in exchange for your credit card, grab a nearby glass and pour… however much or little you like. The screen shows how much liquid you’ve taken and the resulting price, which is then charged to your account to be paid at the end of the night. No more is one compelled to drink half or pints of beer — just take what you like and pay for that, no more, no less! It’s also clearly much quicker to serve yourself than wait for the bartender to be free. Genius! The beer itself is good too. Not out-there craft beer but dependable European lager — for me the recent standout has been an excellent English cider. Behind the bar there’s more exotic stuff like Hawaiian, Belgian and North American beer. Good stuff, but apparently the management intends to push the boat out further, inspired, perhaps, by the 200 beer-strong nearby White Horse. The atmosphere when I’ve been there has been pretty chilled, whether on the sofas inside or the table and chairs outside. As a sister pub to the Thirsty Bear, I had high expectations of their burgers but was slightly disappointed — good, but not great. I don’t think they’re the same though(I haven’t been to the Thirsty Bear). This is currently my go-to pub in Fulham, despite there being several closer ones.

I stumbled upon this place while in London in January one night, and boy am I glad that I did. It was cold as the Dickens outside, so the fireplace was more than inviting. I had one of the ciders on tap(I forget which), but the pour was very generous and the drink was refreshing and delicious. The bartender was pleasant and the place was pet friendly as one of the other patrons had a dog seated nearby. Some of the tables have taps at them, which would be great for group get togethers. A big screen TV was streaming local news and sports highlights. Seating was cozy and abundant because of the late hour. The one drawback is that the bartender did know the wi-fi password and I needed desperately to connect. If and when I visit London again, I am definitely stopping by again, I’d love to try something off of the bites menu!

This place is around the corner from us, and I’d been meaning to try it since we first got here in December and passed by, as it looked like most pubs, low key, but cute at the same time. Only recently did we finally pop in, before I was heading elsewhere for drinks, so more or less to kill time. The place is SO much cuter than I’d thought! Fireplaces galore, restaurant in the back, etc. Only drawback was that the bartender said he couldn’t really make any cocktails… but should be able to in the future. I wasn’t a huge fan of their white wine(or rose, I forget now) I tried, so I’m hoping his cocktail promise was true. Then I’ll have no reason not to return! Also, a great place for groups!
