Will definitely try this place when in London. A lot of great feedback except one Whiney little girl who can’t figure out after 4 bailey attempts should order something else. SMH. Poor little girl that Will T.

3.5, Good food, quick service and relatively inexpensive. There are better places out there but this will satisfy a jonesing for curry.

We were so hungry after a long day of touring London. Can’t believe how happy we were when we decided to come here. Great service and food. Everything tasted wonderful. Great ending to our London trip!

I tried this place based on the reviews. The service was great but the food was disappointing. I tried the mixed starter. The kabob was very good and the samosa was amazing. However the chicken tikka was over cooked and a disappointment. The pickle sauce that accompanied the starter was great but the mint sauce seemed too sweet. For a main course I had the Lamb Rogen Josh. The flavor was good but the lamb was over cooked.

Went to the Buckingham Balti House after a late day tour of the palace. What a wonderful treat. The food was very flavorful. We order items that we had not experienced in the states and loved everything. The food came out very quickly. Truly, we had a small problem with our waiter understanding our order. We had house wines which were acceptable. Our bill overall was about average for a dinner in the UK. As our first dinner on our trip we were pleased.

Great chicken masala but the shrimp curry must’ve come out of a can as it was flavorless! Decent service & prices.

Walking down the street after a long day of being an American tourist, we came across a takeout /dine in Indian restaurant. We were hesitant at first, but as was our custom, we looked at the menu pasted outside. Not only did the menu look delicious, but it was cheap as well. Having just ordered a ton of Indian food the previous night, and having it delivered to our house for around 30 quid, we figured we knew the ropes. We ordered what we wanted, though the waiter kept mishearing us and ordering more than we wanted. We thought this had been ironed out after talking to the waiter. We were wrong. My wife asked for a double Bailey’s after receiving a kid’s version of the Irish Bailey’s Cream. It was a half of a finger of Bailey’s and that included ice cubes. When asked why this was, they kept saying ‘sorry’ and bringing us more small amounts of Bailey’s, each of which was charged as a double(5 quid each) but looked the same as the single. This went on for some time. It wasn’t until all was said and done that we ended up being charged for 6 double Bailey’s Irish Creams. We wouldn’t even have minded if they were actual doubles. The 8 quid meals show up and end up somehow being charged as 15 quid for lord knows what reason. I tried to show them the menu and the pricing structure when we got the bill. This didn’t work. They said that because of rice and because it was dinner time(past 6pm), that was the final price. At this point I had given up trying to make sense of anything. We had their cheap mains, two beers, accidentally 6 double Irish Creams, a side dish, an order of rice and ended up with a 60 quid bill. Ridiculous. Nearly $ 100 for us Americans out there. And for future American tourists… Avoid this place. You can get really good, cheap Indian food elsewhere. Just avoid this place. Even if you’re as hungry as we were, walk down the street and get some Tesco’s. AVOIDTHISPLACE.

We weren’t sure if this restaurant was a tourist trap or not, so we came in with little expectations. But we left pleasantly surprised. Everything we ordered was good(and we ordered a lot of things). My first observation was that this place looked clean. And the plates and silverware was clean too. The waiter was very pleasant and attentive. We ordered pilau, garlic pilau, naan, chicken tikki masala, curry fish, the spinach with cottage cheese and another chicken dish that I can’t remember. Everything we ordered was good. Some of the chicken was a bit over cooked, the masala was overly sweet and the sauce was more thick than I would have preferred, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I would recommended dining here, especially if you are residing near Victoria Station.

Fantastic little place, staff were good and the food was great, when I am back in London I will certainly be back. Start with Spicy and go up, it is hard to know how each country measures spice/hot, I went with medium and Spicy and I would say Spicy would be the same as mild in Australia

We came here for dinner and opted for some Chicken Biryani, Aloo Gobi and Naan. It’s a well-known understanding that you can’t come to England and not have a curry however, I don’t think this would be the place I would recommend. The food was okay but ‘nothing to write home about’ so-to-speak. I’ve had better Indian in our humble city of Pickering. The service was okay, quick, friendly and although I’m giving them a three star, I don’t think I’d come here again.

Hands down one of the worst places to eat in Central London. The service was so nasty, it’s compiled with very low class individuals who know nothing about customer service. The portions are small, the food is priced about 3x what you should be paying. I cannot believe Unilocal Led me wrong! Other Unilocalers must have never eaten proper indian if they can give this anything above 1 star. I am blown away on how bad this place really is. In a location like this, I cannot wait for this place to close and something amazing to come in its place. Do not eat here, you will be disgusted all the way around.

This was a great meal. We had tandoori lamb with cucumber sauce and chutney, garlic naan, butter chicken and chicken tikka Marsala. All the flavors were very distinct and different. It would have been five stars but they had only two traditional Indian deserts and were missing a cardamon spiced rice pudding.

Overall I wasn’t very happy with my dinner here. We came in a group of 6 but 2 of us had had a big lunch and weren’t very hungry. When the waiter asked them if they wanted anything and they said no, he rudely said«really?» and waited awkwardly for a few seconds before moving on. Pretty bad service and I think pressured them into getting salad and tea later. The food itself was good, but not great. Portion sizes were small, expensive and I think that my chicken biryani was a bit dry. I might be spoiled from having great indian food in Berkeley, but London is supposed to be known for it! Pretty disappointing.

Excellent Indian cuisine. The restaurant is clean and attractive. Our service was generally fine, although a group of waiters hovered very close by. The food, though… This is what you came for: perfectly seasoned, could even be a bit spicier, but delicious. Prices and portions were reasonable.

The food was quite nice, but nothing spectacular. Service was very prompt and attentive, which is appreciated when you’re having a quick meal before the theatre. Probably one of the better choices for affordable Indian in the West End.

Had the balti chicken, chicken tikka mossala(that’s how it’s pronounced), rice and naan. Taste was ok nothing great but the service was good. Balti chicken was rich in flavor and spicy. The mossala chicken had coconut inside and the taste was surprisingly good. Overall it was a mediocre restaurant and go there only if you have no other choice.

Great, delicious Indian food. I got the balti chicken. It was in a very thick, creamy sauce that was very spicy. Very very yummy. This is great curry. The meat was tender and well-cooked. It didn’t come with rice! But the naan was yummy as well.

Two of our four dinners in London took place here. Since this restaurant is so close to Victoria Station, it was a great place to catch dinner. Our bus dropped us off, we looked around and saw the sign«Indian Food» and went straight for it. It was my friend’s first time having Indian food so I was hoping it would be good. Well, not only was it good, she loved it! Our server that night was extremely friendly. He was SO nice and attentive. We loved it so much, we went back a second night. However, on that second night our favorite server wasn’t there and it changed the way we felt about it. Our waiter the second night was not friendly and had an angry look on his face the entire time. It kind of killed our love for the restaurant. Service says a lot… and when it’s not good, you naturally don’t want to go back. Also the food was different from day to day. On the first day we ordered Butter Chicken and the second night too… they were both really different. The texture and taste were both different. We liked the chicken on both instances but I was surprised that it changed so much. I guess their chefs must not see eye to eye. Everything was delicious. I’m definitely not an Indian food connoisseur but my taste buds are pretty good at judging taste. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the Victoria area.
