I made a mistake in going there for lunch today It was a very bad experience The waiters are very rude and unclean in their appearance the management should know it’s an eating establishment and the people who serve should be clean The food was nasty ! This place should not serve food !

The place does not even deserve the one star that I gave it. Rude staff and no good food.

Insipid, dull atmosphere. Had high expectations of the place. Was not worth the 30 min tube ride. Ordered Seekh Kebab & Lahori Machi as appetizers, which were actually awesome. Main course 2 dishes that were ordered did not show up but were on the bill !!! Stay Classy. Chicken Makhni was probably one of the worst I’ve ever had. One place I will avoid while in London. There are tons of options when it comes to Indian/Pakistani food — Bundu Khan you are not !!

Quite a nice Pakistani restaurant not far from the Aldgate East underground station. Good spicy food, not too pricey or even cheap by London standards. Attentive and helpful staff. The only thing I disliked was very loud music.

Had dinner at Bundu Khan recently. Tried the seekh kebabs, behari kebabs, parathas and a chicken curry. The food was delicious. I loved the spicy dishes. My husband thought the food was hotter than he would have liked but adding yoghurt raita to our order helped him with the heat. We tried the kheer and kulfi and loved them both. The servers were helpful and efficient. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who has fond memories of Bundu Khan in Karachi.

Been going here for lunch for some time — since it opened and always had the buffet. The quality has deteriorated so I no longer go. During the first few months they rarely opened on time(12:00 noon) and wouldn’t allow one to wait inside and were rather dismissive but the buffet, although very limited, was rather good. It is no longer so good. The salad is pathetic and the quality of the meat dishes is rather poor. My colleagues and I would regularly enjoy lunch here but no longer go since the quality of food went down.

Bundu Khan is very conveniently located opposite the Princes Alice so you can spill out after your pint of beer and straight to curry. Everyone had the Lahori Karahi(chicken or lamb) but myself who had paneer with spinach, and another(late arrival, so I didn’t get to taste her’s keema). I must say the Lahori Karahi was absolutely delicious though I found my Palak Paneer a tad uninspiring and suffered a huge case of food envy– to the point my friend put his dish between the two of us and«shared», as by this point I was probably shooting daggers in everyone else’s directions. The Peshwari Naans were delicious as was the pilau rice. The one thing I really liked about the restaurant was that they were very obliging with our desire to eat popadoms for an army and that they just said«we’ll organize some nann and rice for you» and voila! the absolutely correct about of nann and rice for 6 arrived. Perfectly happy meal, though I’d probably order the Lahori Karahi too next time. Sometimes, it is very important to be a sheep.

This place is on my curry for lunch circuit. They haven’t been open very long, about a year now. The selection isn’t very broad, a mutton curry, a chicken curry a few starters. If you are a veggie you’ll probably need to order ala carte. What they have is tastey, but the mutton curry is a bit fatty/gristley. Their salad is excellent… I have never had a salad quite as spicy as they make it. Come here for a change if you have already been to Mumbai Square several times this week.

Bandu Khan serves some spicy Pakistani dishes. Tried the aloo gobi and two chicken dishes and boy were they hot. I needed the entire bowl of rice to accompany my dishes as my mouth was on fire(good fire). This restaurant is a bit more formal in the sense that there are white table clothes on the tables and a full bar, in contrast to some of the hole in the wall places you find. The dishes were reasonably priced and tasty. If in the area, I would certainly go back.

Restaurant Pakistanais très fréquenté Pour un dimanche soir. Très classe, nourriture très épicée, accueil excellent. Grillade de poulet et d’agneau servis sur plaque chauffante délicieuses… Seul bémol on né sert pas d’alcool…

yeh i had big expectations of this. The name goes back to street food vendor from Karachi and apparently Bandu Khan was the man for skewered minced lamb. He was so popular that he eventually developed a fixed premises outlet and expanded over Pakistan, Dubai and now the U.K. My visit however left me feeling that I need to get out to the real Karachi joint if im gonna be wowed! I went on Saturaday for lunch and we were the only other table at the place. so we ordered a feast and waited and waited until rather bewilderingly all the food arrived at once starters and mains. i didnt appreciate this since i was starving and isnt it the norm to ask if you want everything brought to the table together? i thought this was not on for a smart looking restaurant. As we know Asian food can get a bit messy and well i got messy then realised that we didnt even have serviettes at our place settings and then the staff were not on hand to tell them of their oversight adding further rage to my experience. The thing is i would usually excuse such things but not when youre paying the price they charge. The only attentive service we got was when the manager came over to charge us — man he was so laying on the charm, but sorry pal you lost my custom as soon as the food arrived. I could see from the business card bowl on the counter that this is City folk lunch spot and thats all, where the food gets churned outta the kitchen unloved by its makers. The food was ok nothing to write home about, we asked for prathas and instead we got purries, by this point i was way to hungary to point this out and since it was half in my belly i continued shoving the rest in.
