I tried not to get too excited about this new café in the Lloyd park area of Walthamstow. I mean if all you have to moan about is the lack of good coffee shops nearby then things could be worse. But Bygga Bo is worth getting excited about because they sell good quality coffee. They also sell really decent homemade food including meatball sandwiches and their speciality: cinnamon buns. The café has a Swedish theme and is run by a couple of friendly Swedes. I took home some bread they also had on offer. There’s a wee porch for when the weather is good and a little room out the back full of toys.
Oh yeah I nearly forgot, they have a selection of some typically well designed Swedish homeware and jewellery. To be honest I barely looked at this because the food and coffee was so good.
Try Bygga Bo. It’s ace.
