We went to the reopening after a refurb this week! Fab service from great staff — our waiter Angel certainly lived up to his name! The food was excellent quality and the new décor was fantastic!!! Even better when the bill was a big fat zero!!!

Byron’s is a great place for a relaxing burger. The sit down service is prompt, food was very good, easily comparable or better than an American burger such as In and Out. I had a cheese burger, which was well cooked, meat was very tasty. My wife enjoyed a «bun less» burger, and we shared onion rings which were great. Total bill for an appetizer, drink and 2 burgers and salad £32.

This was my second experience of a Byron and was pretty much like the last time! It is a nice burger cooked reasonably well for an ok price. The staff in this branch were really friendly and helpful. It was a very busy Friday and I felt very looked after!

Teehee — I think it’s amusing how most of the reviewers are Americans. Funnily enough, I found my way to Byron also after my American coworker and his girlfriend claimed the burgers here is equivalent to an excellent classic burger back in the states. I agree! To me, it didn’t taste like any other regular burger so it was worth the extra money compared to a McDonald’s. Very succulent. super flavorful, and not greasy. You can tell the meat is not the frozen kind. I had ordered the Skinny burger, so I can’t comment on the bun :) While we waited, we ordered some«proper olives» which were good. except of the two dishes we ordered, mine tasted a bit cheesy. like they stored my olives with a handful of Cheetos. At first, I thought it was suppose to taste like that but then I tried my friend’s dish and we were all perplexed as to why mine had that odd cheesy taste. I never did ask the waiter but I do find that one minor detail a bit questionable, haha. The service was great. The waiter remembered my friend from his last visit and even remembered what he ordered. I like it when a waiter takes the time to remember who you are and can become chummy without being awkward. Come by yourself or come with friends, you will have an equally satisfying meal with friendly service. Just beware the potentially cheesy olives.

Byron is a classy burger joint. It’s a pricey burger, but it’s well done and the service is excellent. The buns really make the burger complete and the chips are perfection: hand cut and crispy and a bit greasy. They have a very thoughtful selection of beers and a wide variety of non-alcoholic drinks as well. You can easily pile on the extras: jalapenos, bacon, bbq sauce, etc. which is why it can get so expensive, but it hits the spot of you are in the mood for a burger. If you are in the mood for a milkshake, I would highly recommend Byron’s. They are massive, so perhaps sharing is encouraged in this situation-I usually go for strawberry, but their oreo is a popular favorite.

Byron’s restaurant on Kings Road is a large, spacious affair. It lacks the more overt US diner-styling of the Haymarket branch, but service was characteristically friendly, thoughtful and attentive. Plus the food is just as good as it always is.

Sadly, I’m really not a fan of this place. I came with high expectations and it very much did not deliver. GRANTED, it was lunch and it was mid-week and there were lots of Chelsea mothers with their children there… so not quite my crowd, but still… putting the atmosphere aside, I was hoping for an AMAZING burger and that I did not get… The burger is truly very PLAIN. Yes, you can add fun things like caramelized onions and blue cheese, but that doesn’t make it that much better. The bun and meat patty are just boring — with minimal taste and uniqueness. Adding the toppings just makes them taste more superior and the burger even less interesting… I’d also skip the wine at this place. The selection is pretty mediocre. Get a soft drink instead and head somewhere else on the King’s Road for a drink!

I stopped by for lunch here on the way to the Science Museum and was pretty disappointed with their burgers! Maybe it’s because I’m from the states? I thought the burgers here lacked the juiciness of the stuff you’d find at, say, the Burger Joint in NYC. You simply get a plain olé bun, patty, cheese and Byron sauce. The standard ketchup and two types of mustard(regular and spicy English) are on the table as options. I also had the chicken fillet which was very plain. It was just a grilled chicken breast which was extremely lightly seasoned, paired with a bun and lettuce and tomato. Their fries were standard — skinny McD type fries. I also tried the courgette fries which are basically thin strips of zucchini encased in deep-fried batter. Very unhealthy but was quite tasty. ;) This is a great place to bring kids however — they have mini sliders, some mac and cheese, and great milkshakes. Given the simple menu and low-key atmosphere, it was no surprise to see so many families with their little ones. I probably wouldn’t come back unless I was in a hurry, but the location is quite convenient for a quick burger if you’re on Kings Road.

First, let me say, this place is called Byron — NOTBRYON. Once you eat here, you will be blown away that someone couldn’t remember the name of the place. This place /chain is ace. Solidly awesome American Hamburgers. I have tried various locations and cannot say one is better than another. I have also tried multiple different items on the entrée and I am delightfully enchanted to say they all were scrumptious. This is a positive thing and a testament to the consistency and quality of the food. I love the Byron Burger, with its special sauce, bacon and perfectly prepared beef. Go for the onion rings, you will not be disappointed. Skip on the tortilla’s and salsa they offer when you first sit down(not worth the change), instead rock out and go for the Chocolate Milkshake. If you are an ex-pat from the states you will feel like you aren’t far from home at this chain.

Kids burgers noise. If you have a problem with any of the three go elsewhere. If you don’t its a fine place.

The wife and I were looking up and down King’s Road on our first night in London for a place to have dinner and being the loyal Americans that we are, we decided to go for burgers. We were more than happy to find out my company had arranged for us to stay in Chelsea during my short-term assignment in London but the one downside is there aren’t a lot of good cheap eats unless you head down towards Gloucester Road. The prices at Byron seemed reasonable and we wanted to find out if these English folks can really make a «proper hamburger». Byron seems to pride itself on using high quality ingredients and it is apparent in their food. The buns were very good and the beef was tasty yet not too greasy/fatty. We also tried the french fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw is more peppery than creamy, which I prefer but my wife doesn’t. The fries were not too oily — cooked just right. I was a bit humored by the number of natives I saw eating their burgers with a fork and knife! In America, we eat our burgers with our hands! In conclusion, this American gives Byron his seal of approval. Not as good as some of the better burger places in America but for London, it’s definitely worth checking out.
