Love the ambience, the resto’s environs and the food. I had a sausage and mash dish, awesome flavor. Aces in my book.

Cozy, intimate location for a fairly large chain of French-themed restaurants in the UK. Open fairly late every night for a suburban high street. Service was friendly and unrushed even though we popped in here just for coffee and dessert and lingered a fairly long time.

The food was very nice, good quality as standard in Café Rouge. It was very filling and neither of us could finish our three courses! Parking was difficult, there is limited street space. Location by the river would be very pleasant in the summer, particularly the outdoor balcony seating.

A warm and cozy café, this place consistently delivers homestyle french cooking. Their set menu is good value for the money and the place itself is clean and staff are friendly. one of their most popular dishes is Moules et frites. Parking can be a pain around here.

Prob my fave restaurant in Ealing. Ok it’s not perfect — service can be a little slow but the menu always has a handful of things I like and also have always found staff polite. I am probably also biased as there are always deals to be had whether you sign up online, cash in tesco points or check out voucher sites. I had a meal for 2 in there at the weekend including starters and a bottle of wine and it came 26 quid !!

I didn’t realise this was a chain when I first went. If I had known I would have chosen one of Ealing’s many other cafes, but Café Rouge wasn’t too bad at all. Two course lunch for under a tenner. It wasn’t amazing, but nor was it terrible and the service was quite good. My burger was a little overdone but this may have been because they were holding it back to serve when my partner had gone back to work(as I had requested). Inside, it looks a bit crowded. The tables are in one long row — best to head to the cute courtyard at the back — if you can get a seat on one of the two or three tables. There are also a couple of tables outside at the front, but they are on the street. If outdoor dining is your fayre, then you are better off with Osteria del Portico, the Italian place just a few doors up.
