This place is really worth the walk along high street Kensington to reach it. The English breakfast served is one of the best I’ve ever tried and the baked cheesecake is just AMAZING. A good selection of Italian products and cakes completes the picture!

This café is great. Excellent breakfast, baked goods, coffee and tea. Menu also has a good mix of Italian and meze dishes. And try the afternoon special, £5 for cake and a hot drink. Great staff too, very friendly.

Visited this place for a quick after a day in museum… food was OK, drinks were OKe, but be careful what you wish for, because we got overcharged a lot. Different prices to drink(eat) in/out. I haven’t seen any menus inside, just huge boards on the board. I don’t mind paying £1.70 for double esspresso, but I was expecting £1.30 just like it said on the board… will not go again and will not recommend…

With a name like this, Café Tarte surely makes you think about ‘French Cuisine’. After long shopping hours on Kensington high street, it’s always a pleasure for me to have a sit at Café Tarte and disgust some good french desserts. I highly recommand the Vanilla Gâteau and the profiteroles(around 2 to 3 £). There’s nothing better to make you forget about all the money you shouldn’t have spent at H&M earlier this day! People who work on High Street Kensington can also go there for their lunch break: it’s cheap and you get served quickly. At Café Tarte you can also eat or take-away sandwiches, baked potatoes and the traditional full english breakfast. Enjoy!
