Quaint little restaurant with a laid back feel. We had a no fuss, but extremely tasty breakfast! We both had the Tungate special, eggs (poached), toast and bacon. This came with an amazing coffee and freshly squeezed juice. Everything was freshly made, tasted great and the service was timely and friendly. Prices were reasonable. Really impressed I might have to go back for lunch.

this is like being back in lisbon. espresso, butter and cheese croissant, and more importantly pastel de nata! this is a great place to kill homesickness! the staff are very friendly and the place has a very local/​neighbourhood feel. however, i’ve had a bad experience a few months ago when I was given out of date juice. I still go to this placee quite often but I can’t really get over something like that.

A fixture in my life (waves at Paulo).
Started going to Paulo’s first café (just off Uxbridge Rd) 8 years ago when working at QPR. Now I live down the road and the chocolate ice cream is a regular high point in my life — Paulo now makes his own and it’s an improvement on the stuff from Fauberts in Chiswick (previously West London’s finest.
Recommend:
Chocolate ice cream (why would anyone ever want mint?)
Pastel di natas
The coffee, suitably strong espresso
The sandwich platters — the salad and crisps on the side are just so
Coke in a bottle
A lot of people seem to go for traditional English breakfast at brunch time. Maybe I’m just weird or normally hungover, but it’s never floated my boat.
The café gets busy on QPR matchdays — be in table by 90 minutes before kick off and be prepared for a slightly longer wait than at other times.
Not sure what I’d do without this place.

I often come here for brunch or coffee with friends. It’s a lovely café with a very continental feel. The food is reasonably priced, the service efficient and friendly. Café Tuga is a Portuguese family run café where you can enjoy a coffee or one of their fabulous homemade ice creams in bright, calm surroundings. There is a single large plasma screen at the back if you like to be quietly reminded of the news or keep up to date with whatever sporting event is on.
