I haven’t been there yet but I’ve been hearing some good things about that place compare to some of the places I be going to for coffee. So I’m make my business to go there and splurge a little bit and to see how the environment is as well !!!

A bizzare Nero. The staff was lovely. My drink was right and I got a nice stool seat by the window so I could do some work. But… for some reason… I was a little uneasy with the place. The constant crowds and people hunting for a seat. I spent more time thinking ‘that person is gonna have to share a table, I wonder where they’ll go.’ Then actually doing any work. Plus the chairs are kinda crammed so it’s a bit of a maze to figure out how to get to an empty table if you see one. So that was also fun to watch. With all of this it also meant that there was this constant background noise of chatter which became a little aggravating after a while. It’s a standard Nero. But if you want somewhere to relax and do work, this isn’t the best Nero for that. If you want a quick hit of coffee… Then this is the Nero for you.

Great coffee, environment and sandwiches. This one has a very good size, different from other Neros nearby. The restroom is generally cleaner as well.

Wonderful idea, live music? Went in for an espresso on Sunday afternoon with the surprise and warmth of live melodic music. Nice one Caffe Nero!

I am a big fan of Caffé Nero generally. I’ve been going there for my regular Chai Latte for around four years. The problem is though, that most of the time they get it wrong! So, here I was in Covent Garden today needing a break from the crowds and in need to do some work. I had passed by this branch a week ago when they had a live music performance. I thought it must be a great place. No music today but still quite busy. *I ordered my Chai Latte, the girl in front of me ordered two drinks. There were three baristas behind the counter but we were served by this one guy. So, I had to wait. And boy, did I have to wait. The three people behind me got served and left before I even had my drink.* And when I had my drink — well. I ordered a Chai Latte with semi-skimmed milk. Well, what I got was skimmed milk and that tastes like water! So I returned it and got a new one — but this is not the first time this happened to me … So, dear Caffé Nero: — don’t tell your staff(if there is more than one behind the counter) to take more than one order at the same time! — make sure your staff at least across London knows how to make a good Chai Latte — and the difference between semi-skimmed and skimmed milk! Thank you!

Nero is like Starbucks. Tea is overpriced. Popular anyway.

Café Nero is another coffee shop outlet that has dominated London High Streets for years. This branch in particular is continually busy. The coffees are no better or worse than any other chain coffee shop. I tend to go more for smoothies and milkshakes. Disappointingly all their milkshakes are made with syrup flavourings and there are no fresh fruits added for flavour. The smoothies are tasty and they claim to use fresh juices, again no actual fruit in sight. At £2.80 for a large i’m not complaining though. The cakes and savoury items are reasonably priced and if you are lucky enough to gain a seat, it is a good spot for a light lunch.
