We were staying a block away, and found this little convenient spot, for a quick wake me up. My lady, grew up in London, I’m a Yank, so I just followed her lead, as it was my first time in London. Really, enjoyed this little shop in the morning, I particularly enjoyed their almond croissant, and the fact that everything came in real cups, not plastic. They were very sweet to us, which with all the hustle and bustle of London, I richly appreciated. I liked the coffee too, I know we all have our likes and dislikes, but I thought it was pretty good. Liked the inside of the place, too. Nice couches, by the windows, but the tables and chairs were comfortable for us too. We left each morning, holding hands. Can I say more?

They don’t accept apple pay here. For modern w**kerish people who uses an iphone to pay for everything(like me) this is just about all you need to know. And I nearly broke a tooth on the superhard chocolate coating of the overly sweet and crumbly millionaire shortbread. Seriously the only good thing these guys got going for them is that they’re opened till late.

Holiday festive flavors are amazing, definitely in love with the Amaretto latte: perfect amount of sweetness at a great value. Definite bonus for being open from early on in the morning until very late in the evening for a pick-me-up.

We saw many branches of this chain throughout England and all of them looked attractive. Finally — the night before returning home — we went to this location(five days ago). It was near our hotel and we just wanted a snack for dinner. We shared a caprese sandwich on a baguette, which they warmed up for us. It was a little pricey at 8.75 pounds, but it was delicious. There’s a good amount of seating, and we chose to sit on(very comfortable) large chairs arranged by the large front windows. The ambiance was very pleasant and unhurried. Also, everyone working there was friendly and the restroom was very clean.

A nero is a nero is a nero. But this one is shallow, so the massive windows that surround it bring in the light to all its corners. And it has tables outside to catch the lunchtime sun. My favourite spot right now!(I’m working nearby)

A-Ok about sums it up. The price is decent and they offer wifi. My double espresso was ok but not memorable. On this trip, I’m sure I’ll stop in here a few times because it’s so close to where I’m sleeping and after I wake, I want espresso. Doesn’t everyone?

Says something that it’s always busier than the myriad cafes and coffee shops around. But it is just a café Nero

Yes, it’s a chain coffee shop. But what a coffee shop. Occupying a corner plot on Warwick Way, this café is a little gem. It’s entire shop frontage opens up on summer days to give a wonderful feeling of space and freshness. This is helped by the fact that management have decided not to risk challenging the laws of physics by cramming enough tables into a space to risk creating a black hole. As any Café Nero, the coffee quality is outstanding, but is slightly let down by the selection of cakes. This café gives the wonderful feeling of a little community around it — there’s no way it should be this busy with the level of foot traffic on Warwick way. But it is — most people simply can’t stop themselves and pop in for a quick coffee. Simply great.
