This is a great little sidewalk café that is friendly, cute, and really pleasant to spend time at. We stopped by one evening for shisha and tea and had a great, relaxing time. The tables and chairs are all arranged in the classic way with all the chairs facing out at the sidewalk. It was a bit crowded when we first sat down, and it took a little time to he served. But once we got our tea and shisha they were really attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome. To judge from the web site and the signs, you’d think that the main reason to come here is for the coffee and sandwiches – and it might be. But we lingered and had a very nice time despite not getting any coffee or sandwiches. I will definitely be back. Its a great little corner café.

My friend and I were looking for somewhere warm quite late in the evening because we hadn’t manage to exchange all our gossip over dinner and saw this place still open although the notice on the door said it shuts at 8pm. They were clearing up but the friendly barista agreed to make us a couple of drinks and we had a cosy heater outside to sit under. Caffe V has those pavement chairs you always see in Paris which kind of made me love it. My hot chocolate wasn’t that great but maybe I was getting the dregs of something as it was the end of the day. My friend really enjoyed her cappuccino. As we were leaving I noticed they also do shisha, as well as quite a variety of food. Good place to stop off to escape the madness of Oxford Street.
