Great place to celebrate but waaay to expensive! Stuff are nice but couldn’t find anything good to eat. Shisha is a rip off but on a positive not, they have an inside shisha which is as good as normal(in case of bad weather). Overall okey place, but the prices are too high

Stopped at Lazeez for a late lunch while visiting London. I was looking for something different and quick. The Beirut burger did it for me.

Visited Lazeez for dinner with my wife. Excellent food in marvellous surroundings. Right next to Selfridges so very useful! Food was excellent and I really recommend both the downstairs basement area which is very atmospheric and the outside for smoking Shisha with brilliant cocktails. Staff are very friendly and attentive and the cost is Low.

Mediocre food, mediocre service, unenjoyable meal. There is plenty to choose from in the area, don’t waist your time here!

Fresh, handcrafted hummus, aubergine, and grilled halloumi. Coming in from the U.S., Lazeez was better than most Lebanese restaurants we frequent in Detroit, a hub for excellent Lebanese food. If you’ve never tried it, just go and sample a fresh fattoush salad and a hummus. You will go back again and again. Easy to get to, just off Oxford Street, across from Selfridge.

Lebanese food is one of those things that I have to be in the mood to enjoy, otherwise everything feels just a bit too heavy. But damn, when I’m ready for that meat, nothing’s going to stop me. And Lazeez knows how to do it. It’s a light, casual Mediterranean kind of spot, with wood walls and mosaic tiles on the inside and plenty of outdoor seating for the obligatory Shishah. It’s right across the street from Selfridges, so how they afford the rent is anyone’s guess, but that does mean it’s very centrally located. We got the Meat Platter, which came with chicken, lamb, tabouleh, stuffed vine leaves, hummus, falafel, and pickles. And it was well cooked and well presented, as well as the meatballs and halloumi. In fact, the presentation of all these dishes were amazing. Delicately and artistically arranged, even down to the hummus, which came in a scooped bowl shape. It made for excellent photos and was really impressive. Only two things brought down this spot, but just a little bit. The first was the halloumi, which wasn’t seasoned or flavoured, but over grilled. It basically had the texture and taste of rubber, which was disappointing, since I love halloumi. However, the real issue was service, which was bad. Really bad. They had one guy working the entire restaurant and it meant that everything took forever: getting our order taken, ordering a drink, being brought that drink, being brought chilli sauce, asking for our bill. Yikes. By the end of the evening, they had brought more people on but when we got there at 7pm, it was bad to the point of frustration. Still, the food was excellent and the presentation delightful and I’d be happy to come back again when the mood for meat strikes.

Seriously the best Lebanese good I’ve ever had! I was with my friend who has traveled all over the Middle East and she loved the food as well! We were a large party so we all tried something different. I had the lamb cube wrap and it was sooo amazing!!! The lamb was perfectly cooked! We also had kefta, moussaka and the hummus and they were all so good and flavorful. We had other things but I’m not sure how to spell them and I won’t dare try! Lol They are a new restaurant so the service was a little disorganized but they were very attentive to our table! I would definitely come back here!!!

We were walking around the neighbourhood on a Saturday afternoon and was looking for a place for lunch. We saw that the new Lebanese Tapas restaurant next to Selfridges Lazeez was open and not crowded so we decided to give it a try since it was a new addition in the hood which opened in May. Food: We ordered the BBQ chicken shwarma wrap, the regular chicken shwarma wrap and the hummus home style. The only thing that tasted good was the hummus. The«Lazeez fries» that came with the shwarma wraps are generic fries from a bag. Both shwarmas tasted weird, were greasy and we both didn’t feel well immediately after our lunch. Drinks: We ordered two soft drinks. Price: 26.33GBP for two people. Ambiance: There’s not really an ambiance at this place. Service: The service started off good, but then went downhill. They brought the wrong shwarma, apologised and said they would be back with the right one. They forgot about it until I had to ask again where our second shwarma was. There were only three tables occupied and it was annoying how they totally forgot. We had to wait another 15 minutes for the right one to come out and the fries weren’t even cooked. They were raw. Would I go back? Absolutely not.
