Not only do I love a great Italian restaurant, I’m even more of a fan when it’s within walking distance of my home. So naturally, I thoroughly enjoyed Cantinetta on a recent warm evening.
The menu features a select few items with carefully chosen ingredients. The results speak for themselves — perfectly cooked dishes, exceptional wine list, and enthusiastic service, all in a vibrant setting. Actually, it might be a little TOO vibrant — there are so many different pieces of art on the walls, it’s a bit jarring!
Other than the crowded walls, I’d certainly come back to Cantinetta for a meal. Hopefully the weather will be warm enough on a summer evening to enjoy the open terrace. Just sitting out there with one of their delicious bread baskets, a little dish of almost-​green olive oil, and a carafe of Gavi, and I’m happy :)
