Hands down the best Chinese buffet I’ve been too, the food is so fresh and the price is decent too

To be honest, it wasn’t a bad experience. I had much better and cheaper Chinese buffets around London. Something is missing. Don’t ask me what. I have no idea, just left with the feeling that I missed something. No? :)

Chinese Chef lives up to its name. At first glance it seems like nothing special; it looks like any one of the millions of other Chinese buffets in the world. Looks are definitely deceiving with this place. The food is divine. I always have to opt for takeaway, because if I actually partook in the all-you-can-eat buffet special and dined in the restaurant, I would hoard all of the food, eat like a starving werewolf at my table, start foaming at the mouth or salivating excessively, bark at all of the other customers to drive them away from my precious vittles and would probably be banned for life from the establishment. I don’t want to put the possibility of eating here on a near-daily basis in jeopardy, so I’ll gladly pay my £5, stuff my takeaway box to beyond the maximum limit, and eat it savagely at home. It’s cheap, it’s local, it’s good; get your chow mein on.

This is off Streatham High Street. So if you are interested in lunch time buffets this is the place to come and grab a big bite. I like the flowery interior with that special touch of red and cream to give it a very expressive and yet implied calmness. There is a variety of dishes for the buffet however I think they could expand the choice selection for customers too. It is always nice to be able to select various dishes and it will also leave a better imprint on my heart that would make me want to return with more people.
