Has any vegetable or fruit that you can think off. A little heaven for veggie and fruit addicts. Generally, good value. I am sure that you can find cheaper but the wide selection and quality weighs up.

It is always delightful to find places like these, that offer such a wonderful and fresh alternative to the produce section at Tesco. With wide varieties of all types of fruits, vegetables, organic and regular, they have produce for the most sophisticated of eaters. For instance, rambutans, guava, Asian apples, snake fruit, mangoes(although they aren’t Indian or Pakistani mangoes), and so much more. If you are into fruit and vegetables, and you live in the area, you MUST go to Clifton Greens.

I’m in here all the time, as an amateur chef. this place is just the best for fruit and veg. Great produce and bring half Grench, I find all those little ‘legumes’ that you can’t buy anywhere else… Grab a coffee to take out from Nero’s next door and come browse the wonderful fare that nature provides… Am I overdoing the review thing a bit here???

This is my go to spot for all my produce needs/wants. The shop is well stocked with a wide range of wonderfully fresh fruits and veg and is extremely well priced. Located on the same block as the local butcher, wine shop, tesco and dry cleaner — it makes it a very convenient spot to pop by whenever I need something.

I used to have a crush on Natalie Portman, but it would never work out because she’s a vegetarian and I sleep wrapped in bacon. Plus she’s also now married, which doesn’t help. Not to mention I’m a sad, broke, ugly fellow who’se only intrest is watching Coronation Street. Reruns. But let’s say, for fun, that she was keen on me. I’d take her to Clifton Greens. Why? Because all the food here is stunningly beautiful and everything sold is from the earth. I don’t recall anything animal, or anything processed. No breads. No cheese. Certainly no bacon pajamas. Just basket after basket of stunning fruits, veggies, roots, berries and legumes. Here we are in November, when most green grocers only have root veggies and cabbage, yet this place boasts vibrant peppers, heirloom tomatos, exotic fruits, even Asian citrus. I love to cook and this is now my «go to» place for hard-to-find greens. In fact, Natalie Portman will be sorry she ever went for a different fellow and shacked up in the States. We — the non worthy — now have«Clifton Greens» all to ourselves. Is the other Swan dancer seeing anyone?
