I’m sometimes in two minds about Coast. Often I find their clothing pretty but with tendencies towards being a little too ‘fussy’ for my taste. Definitely best for party wear and dressier items there is usually a good colour palette to choose from. Many items are embellished (rather than plain) with sequins and beading featuring as recurrent themes.
It’s a good shop to look-​in when you’re seeking a formal celebration dress or decorative top to dress-​up simple trousers or jeans. One of my favourite items, bought a couple of years ago in the Winter sale, is a gorgeous tapestry-​fabric, single– breasted coat, stylishly ‘splattered’ with pastel sequins. Clothes are quite well-​made and generally finished with decent attention to detail.
The fitting rooms in this shop are comfortable, spacious and attractive; located upstairs, they’re great if you like your privacy and time to decide but can be awkward if you discover that you need another size or colour

The dresses in here are gorgeous and they are perfect for a special occassion. Although it is quite pricy, it is a great place to get outfits for proms and weddings.
