This small but attractively-formed addition to the Neal’s Yard family only opened in October — and made me a happy bunny! Their tinctures(liquid herbal remedies with an alcohol base) are an essential part of a holistic repertoire, especially in the winter months. The chinese remedy, astragalus, is a fantastic alternative to echinacea. Another favourite to brighten-up tired eyes is eyebright, brilliant during party season and a boon when hay fever strikes. The frankincense skincare range is award-winning and a pleasure to use, also well-priced. Their essential oils — in calming and protective dark blue bottles — are great quality. However, I do mourn the passing of helichrysum, an unusual but gorgeous oil. Although the shop is petite, there are several treatment rooms upstairs, stunningly decorated in soothing and elegant tones with beautiful stained glass windows. Surprisingly, considering its busy location, they are very quiet. A good range of therapies are on hand; perfect for when you want to treat yourself or as a welcome gift for a stressed-out friend or family member.
