Crabtree & Evelyn is like classy Bath and Body the idea is to give you a feel as if you were transported back to an old English apothecary. Their products are enriched with herbs for medicinal purposes. To aid mostly in relaxation and for the health and well-​being of your skin. It was founded during the era of love in the 1970’s probably bye some hippies but I can’t know for sure. The name which you might think belong to the family founders, is actually taken from an English gentlemen named John Evelyn who published important work on conservation in the 1700s. Crabtree is a wild apple and was used in apothecaries across Britain. This is an American founded company but now has locations across the globe. A really great place to go if you are looking for gifts for the women in you life such as a sister, mom, aunt, grandmother, or partner. They do have gifts for men as well such as classic shaving products and cologne. This particular location though not overly helpful or informative has a nail tec area. The store is a little on the expensive side, but everyone splurges on at least one body product so if you are in the market its a nice place to visit. The other great thing was that the smell was not so overpowering that it forces you out of the store like most stores of this nature. The smell was quite pleasant and I was happy to look around. There are candles, body scrubs, fragrances, skin care products, even scented drawer liners to keep your unmentionables smelling fresh.
